Caught that thomsonfly flight out there from coventry a few weeks back and 1p is all it's worth. It was terrifying.

After I read this last night Bec I had a dream that I flew to Ibiza from Coventry and it was this crap little plane which didn't have a roof Then we nearly crashed twice so I went to see the pilot and it was Jon Carter and he let me sit with him for the rest of the flight

Take a drink for the plane as there was no trolley service due to'technical problems' or the state the people getting on the flight where in.

Dont worry Mambs, when we flew from Coventry it was a hassle free flight. The airport is tiny, so eat and drink well beforehand. You literally walk across the tarmac and hop abpard the plane
They're very efficient and it's run by Thomson so they're not dodgy planes or anything.

Im not really that bothered about the drinking before hand, i can wait a few more hours.

The thing that worries me is that ive heard the runways small and thats the part i dont like - the taking off

Cov Airport is a dream to fly from.

Park right by the terminal , a couple of check in desks and two departure gates.

Afterwards you collect your luggage at one carousel and can be driving away half an hour after landing.

As for the waiting room , sure there are not loads of facilities but there are sandwiches available, a bar and newspapers.

There is a decent pub just down the road from the airport if you get in the area early as well.

A for the short runway . . .well , I've never noticed a problem but I wouldn't worry . . . in the unlikely event it did all go wrong by the time you ran out of tarmac you would be travelling so fast you'd be dead really quick anyway. . . .

. . . So, nowt to get stressed about.

Personally after flying from Cov I never want to go from Heathrow or Gatwick again. Too big, too mad and takes AGES to get in and out of.
