After a nightflight with Monarch that didnt sell any alcohol because people were being too roudy at the start of the flight ( thanks for that!) me and my girlfriend landed in Ibiza about 3am. Grabbed our luggage jumped in a Taxi and checked in at Bossa Park , Playa Den Bossa with no problems apart from the fact we were bottom floor but we were right by the pool so wasnt too bad. After checking out the room which was pretty dated and basic(which we expected) we went straight to sleep.
Woke up nice and early to clear skys so went to Tantra for breakfast which was the worst breakfast we had all holiday. We then headed down to Bora Bora to get a bed on the beach. We stayed down there all day drinking cold Koppabergs aswell as sorting our tickets out for Carl Cox Closing. We headed back to our hotel around 530pm pissed and got showerd and ready. Pre drinks in hotel and few bars in Bossa and we got in Space around 1am. Got a seat in the Terrace and had a few drinks then hit the Dancefloor when Yousef was on who was the highlight of the night for me. We then headed into the mainroom which was as busy as ive seen it so we chilled out on the top of the club for an hour and met people from down south who we ended up stayin with the rest of the night. After alot of socialising we headed back down to the Terrace and caught the end of DJ Sneaks set and he was playing some rather strange funk music at the end. I usually love Sneak but wasnt feeling it atall. We ended the night in the DiscoTeca and to my surprise Carl Cox was bk to bk with Locodice. Was loving every minute of it but my legs gave up at 7am so we headed back to our room with our new found friends for drinks till about 11am. Apparantly Space went on till 9am!

Wednesday 19th

After a few hours sleep woke up around 3pm feeling abit fragile. Went for a breakfast in some Spanish place which was decent. Our friends from Space were leaving to go home so we headed down to Bora Bora to say our goodbyes. The weather wasnt brilliant this day, very overcast so we went back to our ( very quiet) poolside and had a few beers on the large white beds. We decided to go for a meal at Sissis over the road because I enjoyed my steak so much the year before from there. I ended up going for the Mixed Grill(17 Euros) which was lovely! Steak, spicy sausages, chicken kebabs, pork, potato! yum yum. Got 2 mains, bottle of white, beers, lemonade for less than 50euro.
We then went to Cocos for few quiet drinks and headed for our hotel for an early night because we wanted to feel fresh for a big day the next day.

Thursday 20th

Got up nice and early again and the sun was out and I couldnt find a cloud in the sky. We had a breakfast at the little spanish place next door to our hotel then went down the beach to catch some rays until 2pm. We then headed back the hotel, got ready and got a Taxi to San Antonio because we were going on the " Such a Feeling" Sunset cruise with Paul Van Dyk. We got on the boat about 445pm and straight away I could see PVD dressed as a sailor. I went over to him and asked if I could take a pic which he was more than happy to have one taken. Off the boat went just after 5pm and PVD turned up the music playing some absolute Ibiza belters like David Morales " Needing you" and " Born Slippy" . We went right out away from San An and then the real Trance started. We headed downstairs to chill and have some drinks. When we did head back upstairs Paul Van Dyk was still getting right into it and even dancing with everyone on the top deck at one point. I witnessed the best sunset ive ever seen on the boat while listening to amazing Trance music. We headed back to San just after 8pm. While we waited downstairs to avoid ques getting off the boat PVD was right behind us and had his picture taken with me and my girlfriend before we got off the boat ( Top Guy)

( Pic is bad quality as it was a picture taken of a picture on my phone)

We got a taxi back to Playa Den Bossa, had a KFC and got vodka for the room and had a few drinks on the balcony until about 12.30 then headed to Cocos for a couple before getting a Taxi to Amnesia for Cream Closing party. We stayed in the Mainroom for the whole night , Paul Van Dyk was on top form again. Never known the ice cannon go off so many times in a night. We stayed until about 6am, went back to our room for after drinks . ( Best Day of the holiday)

Friday 21st

After getting no sleep atall we decided to just head to the beach again and spent the day by Sands . After a long hard days sunbathing we went and got ready for Sasha closing party at Ushuaia. We got in there about 845pm and it was packed. My first time at Ushuaia and I was very impressed. Wouldnt mind staying there myself. Steve Bug was on and was working the place nicely. We saw people we knew from back home and went right to the front for the the main man. All my mates at home love Sasha and ive never seen what the big deal is but he was brilliant . The music and atmosphere was amazing and it was nice being outside and not stuck in a packed club. Only downside was I lost my camera which was my own fault in the toilet. Shame somebody couldnt be honest enough to hand it in as it had all my photos from carl cox and cream etc.
After Ushuaia we went for a drink next door to Ibiza Rocks and I overheard someone mentioning an afterparty in Ibiza with Sasha playing so we asked a worker who told us it was at Grial . We got a Taxi there and it didnt look like an afterparty atall, no doormen, just a small bar with people sitting outside. We went in and Sasha wasnt on but the music was good. We got drinks and sat outside drinking for most the night and Sasha was sitting at the table next to us all night looking abit worse for wear. Apparantly he was too ****ed to dj. I asked to have a photo with him and he was more than happy. We got a taxi home around 6am .

Saturday 22nd

We were both feeling rough as toast this day so after a few hours sun bathing we headed for the hotel, got a subway and chilled out and had an early night.

Sunday 23rd

Although we had an early night my girlfriend still wasnt feeling too good so we chilled on the beach all day drinking plenty of water. We got a taxi to San Antonio around 7pm and headed down to Kanya for a drink and to watch the sunset. We then went to Mambo for Stawberry Dakaris . Not sure who was playing there but Jackson 5 was played. Not my cup of tea atall to be honest. We then headed to my favourite restaurant on the island Curry Club!!:) and I had a Chicken Tikka Madras which I had been looking forward to all holiday. Always gotta visit there atleast once when im in Ibiza. After feeling stuffed we walked along the prom to Orange Corner and had a drink in there. We then went to Ibiza Rocks for a couple and then ended the night at Bay Bar with coctails . All in all a very nice night. We were getting kicked out room next day at 12 so we didnt stay out stupidly late.

Monday 24th

The day we had been dreading all week. Our flight wasnt until 0340am Tuesday morning so we used the room till the last second we could for rest then had 12 hours to burn. It was a very windy day. We got a bed on the beach by Ushuaia and spent the entire day on them. Around 6pm we then went for a long walk right up the beach past the old Ushuaia beach club and saw Armin Van Buurens dancers promoting his closing party and then further up Tiestos aswell who were doing back flips etc. Took a few pictures and walk right the way around past Space and had a coffee in Tantra to kill some time. We then went to a few shops to buy some presents and walked right up the prom towards Ibiza town but there was just a few hotels so we headed back and had a drink outside the hotel Garbi. Afer going back the hotel spare room to get showerd and changed we went for a Chinese and few drinks to kill the last few hours before we left for the airport. We ended the night sitting by the sea where it was quiet and you could hear Fatboy Slim at Ushuaia and see the stobes in the sky. Finally it was 12pm, we jumped in a Taxi, got our luggage and went home absolutely nakerd!.

All in All had an Amazing holiday but glad to be home now as the weather wasnt that good towards the end. Ill never go so late in the season again.

Sorry for how long this is and if theres any spelling mistakes .

heres to IBiza 2013 :)

He was mate, picture doesnt do it justice to be honest. But to be fair I was a mess myself that night, especially at the afterparty at Grial. Hadnt slept for 2 days at that point...... Only in Ibiza

Hey mate, when in rome and all that. I've never met the fella but he always sound like a sound bloke whenever i've seen him interviewed.

You arrived the day I left. I've been mid September before and the weather didn't hold up so reckon I'd stick to the first half of the month.

Can't believe they weren't serving alcohol on your flight over. It's a flight to Ibiza FFS. I was very much the worse for wear on our Friday night flight but in good spirits.

Would have loved to have been at Carl Cox on the Tuesday and the PVD boat party.

Still never made it to The Curry Club in 11 visits. Defo on next years to do list.

PS very impressed at you getting your review done mega quick. My brain is only just starting to function properly now!!

Excellent, shame we can't tag photos on here, spotted myself at the back of one of the boat party pics :)

My Ryanair flight from Prestwick wasn't selling booze either. It was definitely the rowdiest flight I've been on and there were huge queues for the toilets for pretty much the full flight.

It's vaguely understandable if they feel it's a risk to sell booze when in the air!

 sounds like an interesting flight.

rowdiest flight i've been on is a football charter...boys just snorting gear the whole flight on the fold down tables as they demolished the duty free theyd bought in the airport. , i'm sure one of them gave the stewardess money to avoid the last 10 rows of the plane:spank::spank:

uncle sevo...great review mate....im no big fan of PVD, but i do take my (sailors) hat off to him for getting into the swing of the boat party8)

sasha does look a wee bit tired in that picture......

Glad you had a good time - shame Sasha didn't play at Grial ... meant to have been some of the best sets when whe did the same last year.

Must admit I'm not a big fan of going out in September ... unless it's last-minute with a clear run of good weather. The great warm sea temperatures are mitigated by the wind and cooler nights too much for my liking. Guess it depends what you want to do but I like it hot, reasonably still and sunny with warm nights far more than cooler or windy days.
