I Would like opinions on best places to stay.. best clubs.. i look about 19, so i'd be ok for clubs i'd say. Not many people would say no to a few lads goin into a club anyways would they. ??

First things first... please phrase all future questions in English. Most people won't bother to take the time to decipher whatever language it is that you typed.

Generally, the clubs and bars in Ibiza have an 18 yr minimum, but there's no one out there checking IDs so as long as you don't look like a 12 year old you should be fine.

You could probably do a few days trip on 700 pounds if you spend half on a cheap package tour and take half as spending money.

As for info on the best place to stay, etc. - read the Ibiza-Spotlight website, get some ideas, then do a search of these forums. Any question you might have has been answered at least 10 times. Then get back to us for any clarifications you need.

To be honest mate, I think you'd be better going to Magalluf. you'll have a better time there at 16 (imho) than you would in Ibiza. Save Ibiza for when you're a little older and can appreciate (and afford) it better.

i don't think we should be putting age limits on ibiza. there's something for everybody here as let's face it we're all thankfully different. and please let's not perpetuate the myth that ibiza is expensive. it is not. (unless you want to go clubbing of course)

I wouldn't recomend Magalluf to anybody, Mallorca yess but not Magalluf.
I am with Stephen about prices, it's true that drinks in clubs and all bars that are related to clubbing are expensive, there is also some restaurants in that style that charges quite a lot. But in the Balearic islands people live all year around also in the summer and we can afford to go out and don't spend the amount of money that people says you need to be able to dine in a restaurant, with first course, main course, desert , wine cofees. this is because not all restaurants and bars are so expensive.. There is plenty of restaurants and bars in Ibiza that have normal prices and higth quality. Not to say that most of the bars and restaurants in ibiza are normal with prices. Ofcourse I like to spoil myself a lot when I go on a holyday and I spend double than if I were at home.
I think you would be ok with 700 pound wich is about 1050 €.

Surely it can't be quicker to type in that hash of a language you use than proper English?

To the above: I wouldn't normally.

but anybody who uses terms like "wid drinkin" will probably enjoy themselves better at 16 in a place like magalluf. I was 17 when I went there and had a great time. Im only speaking for myself here, but id have felt a bit out of my depth at 16 in ibiza. and 700 quid all in wont get you far in ibiza. Yes, you can have a good break for that. but this guy is probably gonna want to go around august. so say he is 300 on accomodation and flights (cheapest you'll find) that leaves £400. Thats not a lot in Ibiza. What I meant was, the money will go further elsewhere. Sorry for judging you by my youth dude, but at 16 I wanted to get as plastered as I could get on holiday (and i might be also taking your txt-spk into account).

too much time on my hands so here's a translation (nothing has been added BTW  )

Furthermore, what are the financial implications of such a visit. I possess in the region of £700 Great British Pounds and would very much be interested in going to Ibiza.

Oops

Tried to be helpful, Stephen... really I did.

I fear the boy was just beyond help.

So... our job as members of this forum is to offer bad advice to people on visiting Ibiza? Care to answer his drugs question Stephen?

I've heard paracetamol and other assorted remedies are available from the farmacia. Do you think that would help the youngster ? ;)

In all seriousness, I do think we are a bit responsible for giving advice (good or bad, depending on the issue  ). Seems like it's probably one of the main reasons this forum exists... and a nice way to give a little something back to Stephen & co for their kind services and sarcastic wit.
