Valentine's Day...

I'm taking off to Bulgaria for the weekend in a couple of hours :lol:

But I met up with the girl I've been seeing for a couple of weeks last night. Gave her a big basket filled with flowers, 2 small boxes of candy and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne 8)

I generally hate Valentine's Day. Always warned my girlfriends (and ex-wife) at the start that there would be no celebrations or presents. But in this case I thought that, since I'm taking off for the weekend at this early delicate stage, best to do something nice.
 
I've also always said I don't 'do' valentines day... But I have the day off work so it's a good excuse to cook something good! Gona make a steak n redefine pie with mash.very romantic!! No flowers or the like though
 
First Valentine's as a singleton in 5 years, so I will mostly be enjoying the extra weight in my wallet! :lol:
 
enjoying not having to spend money on anyone else apart from myself :) oh yeah, and the trip to the dentist this morning!
 
I spent it with friends hanging out and goofing around. Who said Valentine's Day are for couple's only? :D My mom had also cooked for us, my little sibs behaved real good getting the day over without having me pestered. I also received cute little small things from friends. :) It was fun. The fact that I haven't spend much that day compared to some of my friends who took advantage of payday loans so they could throw a party. It's nice to know they've all have fun as well. :)

Nah, judgment for the £16k she owed me got last April, attachment to earnings ordered by the court, her employer refused to comply and somehow she's since managed to get the judgment and enforcement order set aside.


I thought I'd seen the height of imcompetence with some of my clients, turns out the courts are streets ahead!
 
mine didn't go so well......

Booked a nice table for two, but she wasn't impressed. How was I to know she didn't like snooker....:)

Oh Yes, I have seen some unbelievable decisions in the past
 
Was my first valentines as a single since 2003. I worked, went for a run, cooked myself a nice chilli con carne, then watched Gareth Bale vs Lyon. I also completely avoided the vomit-fest social network websites/apps for the day.

In more cheerful news, I'm on a second date tonight in Aberdeen, and got another date with a different girl lined up for Sunday. Who needs Valentine's day...
 
This goes down as the hardest week of my life, culminating the day before Valentine's day.

For the actual day, I DJed at Cube for Transcend's party, mostly couples. Felt good to not be worried about trying to sort a date out or anything like I have in previous years.
 
spent the 14th taking shelves down whilst my gf packed boxes. We are moving tomorrow. Who said romance is dead.
 
Valentines Day was 10th Wedding Anniversary. Evening spent seeing Kraftwerk at Tate Modern!
