Good places to eat in San Antonio?

Kasbah lost a lot of their staff last year. Think it's just changed hands again now so should be different again this year

Some of my favourites:
Es Ventall for a really top notch meal. Lovely food, lovely setting.
Ritas Cantina for breakfast, lunch & smoothies
Kasbah - food has been OK but always a nice spot for a drink
Cafe Babel for the best blood sausage I've ever had!
El Yate & Bombadu for tapas.
Golden Buddha was always really good for drinks & more snacky-style stuff & burgers but last year it wasn't that great. Service was off & menu not as good. I missed their spinach quiche I had on previous visits!
Tijuana for a gut-busting fun Mexican. I always eat way too much.
Always enjoyed Zebra too. Their tuna carpaccio is gorgeous!

This doesnt surprise me after our experience there last summer. was so bad it was comical! Felt sorry for the manager as he seemed a good bloke but he took to drowning his sorrows as everything around him went wrong!

Fatsos is a good shout for a hangover breakfast, you'll be in good company from those also rough around you. Foods good, service is brilliant. Quick and everyone is always friendly and chatty

Refuel is no more. Connor gave up the license at the end of last summer. Don't think anyone has taken it on yet that I know of!
now is the greek restaurant alma tadema :!:

Hmm could be amazing or terrible. Struggle to think how they could get a restaurant vibe in there, rather than a chill out cafe.
