An investment fund buys three hotels in Sant Miquel by 32 million
Hispania, owned by George Soros and Barcelo, acquires Real Estate San Miguel company

The investment fund Hispania, participated by the guru of the economy and American investor George Soros and the Majorcan hotel company Barceló, has acquired three hotels in Sant Miquel totaling 32 million euros. The three establishments:
Hotel Galleon (four stars and 182 rooms)
Hotel Cartago (three stars and 196 rooms) and
Hotel Club San Miguel (three stars and 106 other rooms),
owned by the company Real Estate San Miguel, a company based in Mallorca and with partners from different countries in the tourism sector that works under the trademark Stella Polaris, hotel sources reported.

San Miguel also had full control of a neighboring apartments at Hotel Cartago, as well as a restaurant attached to the Hotel Club San Miguel.

The information has been confirmed by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). Hispania a REIT (listed companies real estate investment) with interests both in Spain and abroad, has reported this acquisition to the CNMV and to amend entirely the three hotels Sant Miquel as part of the strategy of this investment.

Hispania announced that, through a "strong investment in quality" try to boost the Ibizan fate of Sant Miquel.

The Minister of Hispania, Osácar Concha said that with this transaction the REIT earn "strategic exposure in a key market."

The **good** thing about this is that for those that travel a lot and have Hilton Honours points, you can use them for free nights at the Curio Chain of Hilton too...

Ibiza City Council is studying the legality of the closure of the arches of the Grand Hotel Montesol with curtains and large pots, preventing the passage of pedestrians below as a traditional arcade era.
