Defected presents DFTD introduces a new concept to Ushuaia Tower with a free party on Mondays for the 2013 Ibiza season.

From 10th June until 30th September, Defected Presents DFTD is a weekly party that will champion a specially curated selection of emerging Ibiza and international talent. The party will also feature other record labels with whom we have been working closely, so expect label showcases from some of the world's most influential and respected imprints.

In an effort to recapture the original spirit of Ibiza, entry to all the DTFD parties at Ushuaia Tower will be free, meaning it won't cost you a penny to see some of the world's finest DJs in this spectacular new location.

We can now exclusively reveal the artists and label who will be joining DFTD at Ushuaia Tower, Ibiza for the forthcoming season.

DFTD is a new, breakout label to Defected Records, focusing on fresh, new and undiscovered talent from around the globe - along with the occasional curveball release from established acts.

DFTD at Ushuaia Tower will be a free daytime party which – according to Simon Dunmore – aims to “showcase eclectic new talent and work closely with our friends at associated labels.”

All the below acts are confirmed, with specific dates and further acts to be announced over the coming weeks.

In the spotlight calendar is no lineup mentioned.
According to Defecteds press release from may there should be Catz n Dogz tomorrow!

Be interesting to see what people's views are in terms of what went wrong with some of these Tower parties. I had some cracking nights there when it first opened, but maybe as more nights on the island started over the season they got less attention. Also, I think the whole dress to impress selective entry message that they put out at the start of the season cost them dearly. People were IMO scared off!

Are you sure they have cancelled this?
It was still going on the last two weeks and I ran into Sam at Ants last Saturday before flying home and at that point it still on.

Besides I have to say I really loved it up there, due to the fact that not many people knew about this, it was never too packed and the crowd was quite good most of the times.
Didn't seem that they were actually to strict on the dress code.

just checking with defected now. it's weird as there is no mention at all anymore on the official ushuaia calendar.

Defected at the Ushuaïa Tower has been cancelled a while ago already (now confirmed to us by them - but unfortunately they hadn't told us back then!). Some individual artist bookings (sam divine for example) may still happen, but they are not associated to defected in this case.

so - definitely not happening as "defected in the tower" anymore.
