I quite like Hackney, it's got a good mix of everything, there's way worse places to live imo.

I quite like Hackney, it's got a good mix of everything, there's way worse places to live imo.

I agree. Most of the top ones were little market towns, boring villages and remote islands.

The only time I've ever been to Winchester (no 1) is for Homelands and the place looks like it only comes alive once a year on Homelands wkend

Same with Harrogate, it's very pretty and doesn't look like it belongs in Yorkshire and it's the kind of place parents like but i know I'd go mad living there

I think they were doing it by local authority. Leyton falls into Waltham Forest which includes affluent areas like Chingford as well as the less salubrious parts.

I don't know why Islington is on the list - property in Islington is expensive and it's got some really nice areas
