Woo, 3rd post in my first 10 minutes!

Am planning my winters adventures... Does anyone know if there is anything happening in the Alps early next year? We're off to Meribel, which I'm told is great, but i was just wandering if I can look forward to any good nights out apres ski? Ideas anyone???
 
We do Meribel every year and are heading out in the 3rd Week of Jan...

Dicks Tea Bar is the late night venue (5am I think) with a blend of crap, slightly crap, and very crap music.... although you do get the odd bit of daft punk in there sometimes.....

Hotel Doron and Le Pub are ok as is the Cactus Cafe on the roundabout by the main lift stations (Chaudanne)

A good place to finish the day's boarding (or skiing if you're that way inclined) is the Rond Point which is on the slope at about 1700m.

They have live bands on there and you can sit outside on big tables under the gas burners :D :D

Not in Meribel, but in Val d'Isere there is a great mountainside bar called the Folle Douche (sp) which has a couple of guys on bongos and saxophone playing some dance music, at the end of every day. A Bora Bora on the mountains (of sorts) 8)
 
thanx jam man and gfunk much appreciated - although there has been a slight change of plans (as is the case when you let your brother plan your skiing trip!). We may well be off to Andorra or Bulgaria now so who knows whats gonna happen. I'll let ya all know when i do! cheers...
