Which part is the "west end"??

hi all!
well I thought for sure I was going to stay in pdb.. where I really really want to stay... but as I am on my own.. I think I may have to head over to the much much cheaper accomodaiton in san an... :cry:

(btw.. is it worth it?.. the cost for a week at fiesta hotels is 479 euro.. adn the cost at Roca is 133....BIG difference!)

this is my first time going, pdb sounds faaaar more appealing, but costs matter a bit too.


However, when I see the hostals.. I have no idea about addresses in san an.. how do I know if they are located in the notoriously don't-ever-stay-there west end?

I"m lookign at Hostal Roca and orosol Hotel..Where in San an are they?


btw.. I still don"t know if I am makind the right decision..

I only wnat to go to Space, DC10, pacha and bora bora.. and I'm on my own, 27 blah blah.. odn"t know if that makes a difference.
How much of a hassle is it to take buses across the island?

Everytime people ask questions about whether to stay in PDB or San an.. I am torn.. esp. because I"m going on my own for the first time.. and want to meet like minded people!

The west end isn't as bad as people might make it out to be, its just full of drunk people who go to foam parties and shag women and bare their body parts, and just not as nice as other areas, but its no red-light district or anything!
 
I had the best time there........

It's an area in San Antonio Bay full of Brits, scots, Irish, and perverts.


It gets loud and rowdy, but it dies out around 2am when everybody goes someplace else to party.

Great girls everywhere.
 
sounds like heaven LOL... nah it aint as bad as people on here percieve it to be.. i mean.. im a clubber whos well into his music... and i went there i dint even get drunk as much as i did try LOL.. but i was just in it 4 the dj's and music and atmosphere.. and tiesto was amazing! gotta be said! but the west end = just probably the same as any town on a fri/sat nite back home. but probably a lot better and people are happier and less fighting i would say!
 
can anyone give me any address or street names, though so I know when looking at hotels which is the west end.. maybe you liked it.. but don't know if I will

noe of the hotels on this website say if they are in the west end of not!
 
i dint tek much notice of da street names .... i stopped in san an bay but was in san an most of time near west end.. cuz erm i met sum girly frends.. LOL but dint look @ road names m8 soz.

there are no hotels in the west end, just around the outside of it!
 
Grab yourself a map of San An . The West End is the area up from Club Nautic near the Marina and speads around the few streets around Santa Agnes.
