What will come out of Ibiza for 05

any thoughts from my fellow spotlighters...any chance of bora bora and DC-10 terrace opening back up with music...if not anyone have an idea whats gonna happen to the white isle...
 
Bora Bora already got its license to play music again in 2005.

I think Ibiza in 2005 will be it's death. The whole place has got far too expensive and a lot of people cannot afford to go anymore ( I am talking both disco tourists and families) Why go to Ibiza when they can go somehwere else for 1/2 the price?

I went to Tenerife for a week at the begining of the year and could not believe how cheap it was compared to Ibiza.

We were lucky enough to stay at Coastline this year. Fantastic accomodation! But step outside the door and it's all dog shit, rubbish and grafitti. If they want to charge Monaco prices, the place needs to have that look and feel. Get the prisoners out of the jail to clean up and start fining hotels, pubs and individuals for litter. It was disgusting.

A lot of people are just not getting their moneys worth and some people treat the tourists like shit. I really think numbers will be their lowest ever next year.

I spoke to a women I know who works across in Ibiza and she said last year was bad, but this year had been even worse. I predict things will go into free fall next year. People have taken the piss and grabbed our cash for far too long. You cannot treat people like that without some kind of kick back. :cry:
 
i agree james, economics will handle this.
Prices to high, people will drop out, lower prices
Maybe some places have to close down, but then other will learn and start up with just a good price setting.

By the other hand i must see the first day that Space and Pacha lower their prices 8O
 
Gonna try to get to a lot more clubs, and will deff make it to DC10. Sooooo glad that Bora Bora will be back - was fab in 2004! Sunset at Café del Mar was a real highlight too! xx
 
Want to get to El Divino, as its the only club I've not been to.

Also want to make it to Benirras and Salinas, and to La Diocsa, and smaller clubs, like Undergournd again.

But its still about We Love.... and DC10. And I'm defo going back for closing! :D
