I Know, had to console myself with curry on me fish & chips last night instead of gravy..........it was nice though.....could've done with some mushy peas though :evil:
 
I've never heard of anything so disgusting as gravy on fish and chips! Chip on their own, yes, but not fish!!

We've got a fab chippy in Ealing that does mushy peas and proper mushies at that :D

It took me about 5 years of living down here tho to find a good chippy :roll: :lol:

Whereas I thing that putting curry anywhere near fish or chips is completely minging!


Is one junk food meal at a time not good enough for you southerners? What next? Sweet and sour with a pizza topping? :lol: :lol:
 
Curry chips are a blessing from god! The gresier the better.

How can you have gravy on fish? Gravy is strictly meant for pies and roast chicken! 8O
 
Edinburgh 'sauce' (like brown sauce but a bit sweeter) is amazing. Sadly nowhere else seems to do it.

That and chips and cheese. Oh, I can just feel my waistline expanding at the thought of it! Definite drunk food - chips, cheese and curry sauce.

Ah, deep-fried pizza. No wonder we're a nation of fatties.
