This years competition is in the final stages of accepting entries. Get your 45 minute mix in by June 6th. This year there's an agency contract with ITB up for grabs (they look after x-press 2, Norman Cook, Layo and Bushwacka, and loads more).
The DJ category is open to all genres of dance music and is genuinely a good opportunity for people interested in music, not fame, to get themselves heard. Some of the entries for the 'electronic' and 'leftfield' categories already got played on the Jon Kennedy show on XFM last week. If you are looking for help getting press and gigs there are much worse places you could start.
