Weekend rundowns

i'll get in early here

Fri - did the weekly big shop and decided to just get a pizza for dinner. went to a local place and ordered - laura seeing the incredibly drunk guy decided to wait in the car. drunk guy with a face full of scars then proceeds to harass the staff (2 girls) and all the time i'm watching the germany-costa rica game on the tv in the corner. drunk then thinks i'm "eyballing" him and threatens to give me 34 stitches. when he gets distracted - i go and wait in the car. as i leave he is grabbing cheese & peppers, eating some and throwing the rest around.

needless to say the rest of the night was not as eventful.

sat - didn't do much at all, the heat was stifling. watched the england game (poor game) and then the rest of the WC games.

had arranged with 3 others to go to the Liquid Lounge for Mike Monday. one mate however, finds out some friend from manchester is in town - instead of inviting him with us, he decides to ditch us completely.

3 of us grab a few beers in my flat and then go to the club - not busy at all but a cracking night again in there - Mike Monday played a storming set. doing rounds with my best mate and my brother leads to me being v.v.v.drunk.

sun - up at 8:10 to play golf (highly probable that i was a wee bitty drunk driving to the course) a hard slog in the heat so spend the rest of the day recovering and getting more things together for Ibiza (practically packed already - just too eager!)

Fri: Had a couple of beers at work to celebrate a good week (I'm liking this job!) After work, went straight to the pub with a few guys from work to watch the football. Ended up pretty boozy, and staggered into bed about 12pm.

Sat: A friend of a friends wedding8) Glorious sunshine and the church was stunning. Was really cool being at a wedding full of young folk (bride and groom are both 23, and have been together 8 years). After the church, went to the reception at a gorgeous country estate. Sat out on the lawn drinking Gin and tonic in the scorching sun until it was time for dinner. At the tables, every girl received a Chanel gift bag (very Footballers wives), and the guys all got lottery tickets and scratch cards...ended up winning a tenner, result!:D Great dinner,and even better speaches. Actually nearly had me in tears, and I didn't know the couple:oops: Very touching! At night, they had a band playing: great tunes and it got pretty messy after that. Ended up getting back to my flat at 4pm this afternoon:oops: :p

Sun: Quick wash, then onto the carry on wedding barbecue. Scorching sunshine, great food, and lots of booze. 8)

Feel very rough now, but had a great time. Best wedding I've ever been to...and it actually made me want a girlfriend:lol:

thursday - SVEN VÄTH played in zurich. the man is on top form, so looking forward to the cocoon nights in ibiza!!!

friday - working throughout the day, then off running for an hour, quick shower and off to a business-dinner. good food, ok people.

saturday - gym in the morning. then natascha arrived. in the afternoon, we went to a friend who had an open-house party. summer has just arrived here in switzerland and we stayed outside all day, eating - drinking - having a good time. home at night, quick shower and off to club liquid where TOM NOVY played. not the best set i've ever heard of him, but still some cool stuff. the vibe in the club was cool and it was also quite packed!

sunday - this years "premiere" of swimming in our beautiful river "aare" which floats through bern. quite everyone goes swimming in the river during the summer, but as the weather was poo during may, it was our first opportunity to have a nice swim...although the river was still F@ç#in' cold! (15°C)
it was nice to laze in the sun afterwards and get some colour ;)
in the evening we had a nice BBQ on our balcony at home with a bunch of friends. what a great way to end up such a nice weekend!!!
 
Friday- Steve Lawler with Sean Miller @ Nations in DC....Miller played a wicked prog set...Lawler was a bit boring...mostly electro....nothing that I enjoyed.


Saturday---World Cup and Vietnamese food in George Town....saw Argentina lay it down proper...


Sunday- A few pints of wife beater and a few shots later I'm finally home.


Monday- more World Cup....hopefully the home team will pull an upset.
 
Friday - Got dragged to some wierd theatre production in Covent Garden without food, drank loads of wine and made a complete holy show of myself. :oops: :lol:

Saturday - Had an am session with a personal trainer. 8O
Went to watch the football at Canary Wharf - was amazing...turned into a big riot! Loads of riot vans, people throwing bottles, panic and trampling - VERY exciting indeed. :lol:
They even turned the big screen off which made everything worse.
Conclusion = English football is sh!te.
pm - put ikea furniture together - flat is looking amazing now! 8)

Sunday - ended up in the secretsundaze queue but it was so hot that we got to the front and went to a park. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! We went back for a look at 4 and the place was rocking like I've never seen it! Couldn't get in for love nor money at that hour which was a shame but it was great watching it from the outside.
The crowd was amazing. 8O 8O 8O Never forgiving myself.

Fri: Can't remember?

Sat: Work, haircut then took advantage of the empty clothes shops (due to the footie) and went a bit mad, especially in G-Star. Did a session at gym, but cut it short cos i'm still ill :? Sat out on terrace all evening drinking wine to help lift my spirits.

Sun: Up early (realising that being ill is the best cure for hangover :lol: ), half hour cardio/abs at gym, the usual big food shop, back home, made picnic and went to find an empty park. Found the perfect place near a river/dam. Ate all the grub, got a tan and had a well earned kip :lol: Back home, more food and a DVD.

Friday: Drinks after work paid for by the boss because a couple of people were leaving. Boss claimed he 'might pop over to ibiza during his holiday in spain to see what mind bending chemicals his staff were taking on their holiday' :lol: 8O :lol:

Caught up with a friend, decided to head up to University Parks to watch some random cricket and sit in the sunshine. Afterwards got pizza and watched BB before heading to the Zodiac for Slide. One of the geezers from Sancho Panza was playing, wasn't particularly impressed as usual :? . Got in free though so I didn't mind 8) :lol:

Saturday: Sat in the garden all day sunbathing and reading my book, lovely :D Had supper with some friends in the evening

Sunday: Up earlyish, off to university parks again to meet a friend for some beers by the river. Then onto a BBQ at his, had some nice food and lots of vinos, was nice 8)

Only trouble is I wore my new flip flops for the first time on sunday and now I've got blisters between my feet - I'm worried now that I'll never toughen up enough for Ibiza 8O 8O 8O

ah you went in the end! I decided not to go as I'm just too broke at the moment trying to save money for ibiza :evil:
 
Thank God - you didn't go to SS either...I'll be so cross if someone comes on here telling us all how brilliant it was. :lol:

I'm annoyed now as the weather was lovely but I've been screwed over by bills this month :roll: and I probably would have found out I'm too poor to get the bus to the airport in (eek!) 12 days time (eek!) :lol:

July = will go to SS :twisted:
 
Well I made the mistake of spending an absolute fortune in Ikea the other day so I'm brassic too.

Well, weekend didn't go quite according to plan partywise as Sebastian Ingrosso (postponed to 24 Jun) AND Sander Kleinenberg (cancelled, sick!) got cancelled. Still had a good time though especially with the World Cup underway :D

Friday - Watched opening 2 World Cup games with English and French friends at a German-themed biergarten. Football bringing the world together :lol: Then to club Fabrique for a bit of booty shaking.

Saturday - SportLand for England v Paraguay, then Starlite Diner for Trinidad v. Sweden, then home for Argentina v Cote d'Ivoire. Afterwards the missus and I went to club Dyagilev for cheesy German DJ duo the Discoboys. Our friend was working with the promoter so we hung out with the DJs before and after.... really funny guys. Home around 8am.

Sunday - Stayed home, watched football, ordered Chinese delivery.

Monday - Bank holiday :D In a couple of hours we're going to a friends place for some spicy Cajun Jambalaya and the US v Czech game :D
 
Sat: Spent all day watching footy in pub with Babs and friends. Kidnapped them and took them to Type at The Cross. Seb Fontaine was fantastic 8) . It wasnt that rammed either. I might be wrong but even I think Barbie had a good time at The Cross :lol:

Sun: Slept and watched footy
 
Fri - wine and football.

Sat - haidressers, met Ferd and co to watch the football, ended up getting a bit OOC so by the time Tom turned up after work they refused to serve us (ie me :oops: :lol: ) at the bar, by then going to The Cross seemed like THE best idea in the world EVER :lol: Taxi to The Cross where we met up with Gollum and co, Seb was pretty good, The Cross is still a rubbish club, spent quite a bit of time rolling round the garden :oops: :lol: Back to ours and spent all day minxing round in the garden - put my very first bet on the football :oops: had an ice-cream and water fight and drank the equivalent of a large vineyard :lol:

So much for a quiet wkend getting ready for Ibiza :? :lol:

Fri - drinks in a sunny beer garden. Pizza at nice Italian

Sat - footy in a pub in Balham, more drinks in another sunny beer garden. Tried to leave to go buy bbq and nice food, but were kidnapped by men wanting to buy us drinks and would have been rude not to accept. :lol: Got home very drunk, incapable of putting together the new bbq. Flatmate cooked dinner in the oven. :lol: Whilst getting ready to go out to the Cross, realised I was faaar too drunk, but went anyway. The night is a blur - I disgraced myself. :lol: Went back to Bab's lovely new pad and had a splendid day drinking in the sunshine. Crawled home like the world's horridest gollum, in a wet dress with a few chocolate stains 8O and hair encrusted with icecream. :lol:
