Weekend rundowns

Friday - Quiet one with a bottle of wine.

Saturday - VERY grown-up day...went on a day trip to York with the husband to look at some typically English architecture and sip tea with old dears in chinsy cafes!
Took husband up the minster (  ) *ahem* which was terrifying because the spiral staircase was really precarious and narrow.
I even bought a commemorative York tea towel for the bunker. ...and saw a piece of art in one of the galleries that I really wanted to buy because it was suitably sick and twisted and would've looked nice in my bathroom.

Sunday - Got butchered by my tattooist. Had a hooge pentagram inked onto the base of my spine. It was agonising...I'm not just being a wimp, it really was. 8O But then again, deep black work always is. I'm really pleased with it though which is just as well.

(I move into the bunker on Saturday - eeeek!)

Fri - went down to the Tea Bar with work people for a 'couple' of drinks, ended up getting sooooooooo drunk (probably cos I was drinking pints of wine :? ) and couldn't face getting the tube home cos godknows where I'd have ended up  so called Jamie to see if I could go to his just round the corner and put my head down there. Go round to Jamies, have a few more drinks and then before I know it we're heading out to the Joiners Arms to see a man about a dog  Then we accidentally ended up in Trailer Trash which was so much fun and proceeded to get very messy. Left Trailer Trash with the plan of going on a cruise but then we realised we'd lost the cruising material 8O So it seemed perfectly logical to pop into Redlight  Plan was just to pop in and say hi, get what we needed and then head back. As we're hanging up our jackets who do we see, only B_____ Nick who'd joined us from the 'other side' Redlight is fab, definitely my new favourite aftershow, ended up staying in there for about 6 hours, crawled back to Jamies, carried on, drank more, Tom came to look after us after work (poor Tom ;) ), finally got home early hours of Sunday morning (after just popping for a couple of drinks on Friday evening  )

Sun - stayed in bed almost all day, was lovely :D

Friday - Out for drinks with various randoms, got very drunk, after a couple of bars ended up at Club XIII. Found out the new manager fired one of my favorite residents :( Got bored and went home relatively early (3 or 4)

Saturday - Went to the sports bar for footy in the afternoon. Then to Suzy Wong Bar for Frederick Galliano and the African Divas. I thought it would be more like a DJ set with live accompaniment but it turned out to be more of a concert. Nice show, though, and good atmosphere. Dropped the missus home and headed over to club Fabrique 'til the early morn'.

Sunday - Woke up mid-afternoon and headed to the big music market to stock up on a few CDs. Lazed about at home all evening.

Friday: met my friend for a couple of afterwork drinks that became too many drinks, too many laughing cigarretes and too many other things and we ended at the very freak Kentuky, a sailors bar at the end of las ramblas full of weirdos. Managed to get home around 5
Saturday: me and Pep started our motorbike trainning plan (we are planning a three weeks trip) and went out for lunch and did around 200km. On the evening staying in, watched the fantastic Corspe Bride and felt asleep on the sofa.
Sunday: Jazz Picnic 8) Arribed around 1pm and spent the next 7 hours eating french cheese and jabugo, drinking, smoking and being very silly, specially my friend Gerlac who eneded the day with about 10 new friends  Special mention to the security guy in the yellow shirt who spent all the day trying to keep people in line, first having problems with the dogs, then with the little kids and finally with everybody else and ended the day with big applauses from all the publci  My friend Gerlac even got a pic with him

Friday - School reunion!!! This was very, very surreal. No one had changed all that much, everyone just seemed a little bit bigger! So weird seeing people who I used to hang around with in school again, and finding out what everyone was up to! Some funny surpises, some people were married, had kids, were now gay! etc... left there at about 10.30pm and went to Area in Watford for an old skool garage night, which was reeeaaallllyyy good 8) Reminded me of my raving days when I was 16!!

Saturday - got woken up at 8.30am after 4 hours sleep  then couldnt drop off again, had a rushed morning getting things ready for going over to Jon's, arrived at his at about 2pm, then jumped straight back into bed and had a few more hours sleep.
In the evening we went to a house party which was ok, had a few drinks and a bit of a boogy but was still tired from the night before so left there at about 2.30am.

Sunday - drove all the way back home again for a Mothers Day meal, and also my Granny's 85th birthday :) Bless her, she had a really good time with all her family around her, it was a really nice meal. Just chilled out all the rest of the evening and watched Planet Earth :D

Fri - very little due to run in of Sat footy league games. It's in our hands to win it.

Sat - Got out onto the pitch, to hear the oppo's barrel chested centre midfielder saying loudly, clearly intending us to hear "Just stick it on my head, not one these ***** could ever beat me in the air". Yeah, cheers pal - spent the entire 90 minutes out-leaping him, to the point where at the end of the game he started asking me to explain how I was doing it. Twat. Won 1-0. :D Quiet Saturday night and quiet Sunday.

That is all.

Friday went out for an Italian and then had one too many drinks!

Saturday - Met up with some friends for 1 drink, ended up at some gay club, salvations came home at 7am 8O to a pi*sed off boyfriend

Sunday - NOTHING

Friday went to playtime @ egg - so very messy..

Saturday got up with a view to doing a bit of work and having an early night.. by midday had polished off a bottle of wine with my flatmate and headed to a house party around the corner from mine. That party got shut down as the neighbours complained of the noise, so all back to mine for carry on! Spent the night barhopping and then back to mine again until the early hours of Sunday :S

Feeling so rough now :( :(

Fri: Got wrecked at home with friends for b/day.

Sat: Recovery, then out with friends for an Italian at the snazzy St Pauls hotel. Stayed for a few drinks in the lounge bar. Was going great until Goldie wheeled himself in (being a very gobby mf), followed by the rest of 'The Games' entourage - Isabella Hervey, Javine, Plat'num etc etc. Saw this as a great excuse to depart and decided to head home early'ish, being that Friday's hangover was still present.

Sun: Gym, food shop, mothers day rounds and early night.

They ALWAYS collapse on G - EVERY time!

It's a different world isn't it? What you have to remember is that these people don't have a leicester sq club equivalent (except for awful places like G.A.Y etc) so what you're left with are a bunch of pervs (albeit pretty ones) with no clue what they're listening to - the same old rezzie djs and horrid sights like you had to see Sirens. 8O

(Robder g__ rant number 4829579 )

Nothing of note.

Saw a few films on Sky Movies which I enjoyed. Million Dollar Baby and Alien V Predator :D

Fri: another night of abstenance - even got a phone call from my "Friday night friend" asking "where were we - was everything alright as he handnt seen us for a few weeks?? " I'd like to think he was seriously concerned about our wellbeing but I suspect its because his takings have been down the last month..8O 8O    Stayed in and watch the Brother's Grimm on DVD with buckets of popcorn (I had never heard of this film - but Phil came back with it from BB, it was really good starring Matt Damon and Heath Ledger - tongue in cheek adventure film based on fairy stories from the Grimm brothers - very surreal!) Also got Crash out too - total opposite end of the spectrum - but equally as good in its own thought provoking way (had a few sneaky tears too...  )

Sat: Friends round for dinner - turned into wine carnage - ended up in bed by 1.00am with a spinning room - had to sleep with my foot on the floor to ground myself (:D :D ) - really funny night tho.

Sun: Supposed to do Sunday lunch but seriously could not face leaving the house, sent Phil out to meet up with dinner crew so I could lay on the sofa eating left over chinese, and watching Coronation Street omnibus..... (forgot to put the clocks forward....    very confusing day....)
