Fri was looking forward to a nice relaxing night in ready for some nastydirtysex action on Saturday, Tom rings me up on the way from home as he's listening to Tongy and is having a fit 8O 'Babe babe why didn't you tell me that BT is playing @ Turnmills tonight??', err 'cos I didn't know' :? Tom is adamant that we've got to go (he loves BT almost as much as Oakie   ) but I manage to remind him of my hairdressing appointment, meeting friends and Nastydirtysexmusic on Saturday. I'm so in the n______ c_______ for not knowing about it tho and have had to bribe him with lots of sexual favours to let me out

Saturday had the 'fro tamed and then we headed over to Jamies, quick stop off at Home bar for a few drinks and then straight to Elephant and Castle. First in, few spritzers and then straight to the Box, good to see lots of old faces and a few new ones. Once again NDSM pulled out all the stops, so many exploding moments, you literally couldn't leave the dancefloor for 5 mins cos you just knew you'd miss something.

Left there at 7, quick Lucozade refreshment at Jamies and then on to the aftershow @ SE1, fab aftershow full of the NDSM die-hard, ended up leaving about midday, kidnapping poor Ferd in the process 8O

More Lucozade shenanigans followed and then we wanted to take avantage of mushrooms still being legal (apparently the law changed at midnight last night  ), went to Jesus Green, got sillier and sillier, about 9pm last night decided we wanted to go and see the Millennium Dome as you do, eventually got home at midnight last night.

The aim of today is focusing on survival :? 8O

Friday: meet my intellectual friends, got a great paella near the beach and tryied to arrange the world till 6 am 8O
Saturday: woke up at 3 feeling great, took the train to meet Pep and then went to a birthday do. Went to bed around 2
Sunday: Family lunch cos my bro is 30 8O Had lots of fun playing with my nieces and nephew and felt scarily maternal with my youngest niece who is just one month. 8O  Then got back home to watch Barça loosing at Madrid

Friday I went on a nice date, pasta, few bars then casino. Won enough on electronic roulette to pay for the whole night, which was nice :D My datee was a bit young tho, reminded me of how I was a few years ago, don't think he's relationship material, but will see him again as friends ;)

Saturday, was meant to be going out but after working and rushing around during the day I couldn't be bothered so we made a nice hash lasagne round my friends, few bottles of rose and the powder i'd got ready for the planned night out and i was fooked! 8O crawled home about 2.

Yesterday, my dad arrived at 9am 8O to help me take loads of stuff to the rubbish dump, forgot to cancel him  cue me shovelling mud and sand at 9.30am, nearly fainting in the process! Cooked a nice roast for a few friends and finished off the sunday with a few (too many) bottles of red and joints aplenty.

:P Feel fab this morning, didn't think i would!

nastydirtysex action

What are we going to talk about now? :?
I'm off sick!
Off for a trashy session with a bottle of vino in Regents Park.

NastyDirty = fantastic! Great to be back at the Ministry, further confirmation that it's a fabulous space.
Only complaint - the usual Ministry crowd...great in places but REALLY awful in others. Pissed up tw*ts shouting in the toilets & 50 year old men in really bad wooley jumpers undressing women with their eyes (had to go on many a rescue mission )...loads of bemused tourists too.
This club goes through some very strange cycles as lightweights leave and nicer people arrive...by 3.00am it was infinately better (the music and live percussion in the Bacardi bar was soooo nice in the morning).

Jo & Tim wooo-ed us all with what was a very unique style of music.
Just one look at SJ and I was swooning all over the place.

It was real treat because I had my Ibiza & Thailand pals out with me who I've not been out with since September last year. 8O
Needless to say we made up for lost time. :P

Can all those who met me make themselves known cos I'm sh*te with names. Babs - smashing company as usual...& nice that you stayed in the same spot so I could check in if I needed a b_____ moment 8O.
Beckiboo - also a lovely character...not quite sure if I managed to string together a coherent sentence however (sorry love).
Would be good to catch up on sensible grown up turf sometime perhaps. :D

Got dragged off to Beyond afterwards...the usual formula - had a blinder but can't piece together many memories.

Right - this part timer is off to rearrange brain cells in the park.
Have a good day!

Friday - gym after work then back to Jons for a lovely curry :D I'm a bit skint at the moment, but wanted a change in hair colour, so I bought a home hair dye from Boots, the shade on the packer was a nice auburn browny/red colour. Anyway to cut a long story short I must have left the colour on for too long or something because the next thing I know I have washed out the colour and my hair has turned purple 8O Noooo!

Saturday - Gym in the morning, then emergency trip to hairdressers to sort out purple hair. My hairdresser takes one look at me when I walk in and goes "Oh my god, what have you done?!" Three hours later, more hair dye and a new cut and my hair is semi-normal again TBH the colour is maybe a bit dark still for my skin tone, but there's only so much you can do with purple hair I spose and it will fade over time

(Moral of the story - the cheaper option is not always the best option!!)

Saturday night - Out in Wanstead with friends to celebrate friend Anna's return from working in France. Left there at about 10pm and got a cab to Ministry  NDSM was FAB!!! Everything I was told about this night was right, it really was amazing. The music is so raw and dirrrrty, you can't help but dance all night. Normally my poor old legs get knackered after a few hours dancing but I was raving away til 7am ;)

Great to see as always Babs, TMT, Jamie, Alex, Buckley and co! Nice to meet Robder & Robo too ;)

Popped into the afterparty for a few hours after a quick Lucozade at Jamie's. Had some VERY funny moments in there (does anyone know if Buckley made it home in one piece pmsl  ) Left there at about 11pm, crawled into bed at about 12pm, then spent the rest of the day sleeping/eating/feeling sorry for myself lol

It was an absolute pleasure my lovely, you should have come to the aftershow but I figured you'd end up in V_______ ;)

Let's do civilised grown up drinks one evening, just to prove to ourselves that we can do it and our nights don't always have to end up as complete carnage  ;)

and this week's caption comptetition is.................

Noticed a pattern in my hometown, at the end of the first week in every month since New Year the whole town is really, really busy. This weekend was that weekend again!

Friday : Good night and much busier than normal, only had a couple of new tunes bought from Napster.

Saturday : Up early and off to Newcastle shopping at HMV and Air Records for new vinyl. Spent £106! ........and only 17 tracks 'cos they were mainly imports. Spent all afternoon recording them to my laptop. Saturday night was busy...ish til 9.30pm then our usual quiet spell til 10pm. Only a couple dozen people in at 10, then by 10 past 10 we had over 200 thru the door!!! ..........and it just got busier and stayed like that til we closed at midnight. Fantastic, didn't play too much rubbish and got away with a lot more house music..........even played Geht's Noch!. Had a couple of young lads run up to me with their mobile phones asking me what it was!!! Great night. Went to the nightclub afterwards to watch my pal DJ.

Sunday : Asked a couple of friends to go to with me to Hed Kandi at Stereo, Newcastle. They declined so went by myself. Hatty Lovehearts and Craig McGivern were on. Hatty was telling me that a couple of promo guys were visiting to see her work and wouldn't you just know it the mixer went faulty! They had to stop the music and I gave a hand to Craig and Hatty to change over to another mixer as quickly as possible. Phew only quiet for a few seconds. After all this stress Hatty and Craig were excellent as usual, the crowd probably had no idea of the quiet panic that had happened behind the decks. As usual, no ones allowed home until Praised Cats - Shined On Me has been played as the 'one more tune', a Newcastle anthem.

Sounds like a good idea in princible...I'm willing to try out this grown up thing but maybe we should bring a proper grown up to show us the ropes!

We'll need a responsible adult with us to keep us on the straight and narrow cos we'd get together and before we know it our minx levels will have gone thru the roof and we'll end up at dubious establishments on a school night :?

It's true because when you said that I went in to automatic mode and started going through a mental check list of mid week specials! :?

Still haven't made it to the front door - we're all crashed in the living room like skag heads - not a nice sight.
Lord knows how you must be coping with the work thing!

I'm just trying to get thru the day in stages, my main focus at the moment is 1pm and then I'm going to treat myself with a trip to the pub as a reward for getting thru the morning

Did you bring your poppers to get through the 3.00 fatigue phase?
