Sunday, roast in the pub, then chilled!

Nice one, Phil.

Mine:
Friday - Typical random night of bar/club-hopping. Spent a long time at Opera (crap music, amazing eye candy) before going to Garage for after-hours sometime between 5 and 6 but the place was strangely quiet. After an hour or so we moved on to Paparazzi for some proper morning techno. Place was packed and going off. Good time.

Saturday - Lazy afternoon at home. Went down to the sports bar to see Chelsea make easy work of WBA. Afterwards, went to B2 to see Spiritualized in concert. Good show...although they've mellowed a lot from the wall-of-sound style I remember them putting out in the mid-1990s. Then to Crisis Genre to see my friend's band Blast and a UK band called the Paddingtons. A night of live music... home early around 4ish.

Sunday - Met a mate for lunch at the diner. Watched the movie Tropic Thunder.

Ace weekend in Barcelona with Sil and Rach :D

Left London at 7.30am Friday morning and was landed in a very sunny Barcelona for 10am, quickly into the centre and met up with Rach by 11am - cue lots of eek-ing and general giddiness as we'd not seen each other since July. Being the BA's that we are went straight to a bar by the port for wines in the sunshine :D Met Sil when she'd finished work for a lovely alfresco lunch, then back to hers where Friday night was all about SBC's, litres of rose and general silliness

Saturday nursing our sore heads went up to the Gaudi Park and played at being tourists taking 5387234 pictures, then to Gracia for lunch. Then the plan was to have a siesta but me and Rach aren't very good at embracing the Spanish manana lifestyle so ended up drinking all day again :lol: At night went to 52 for food and drinks with all Sil's boy friends and partaked in lots more BA behaviour

Sunday was another gorgeous sunny day so we spent a few hours on the beach, then went for a late lunch on the Agua terrace - absolutely heavenly :D

Then an 8.30pm flight back to cold London :spank:

I had a pretty intense weeked. The highlight being Visions on Saturday - wicked dalston underground club with good prospects - Irish DJ John Daly played an excellent set fusing everything from smacked out disco to detroit bombs to cheeky re-edits of INXS - well worth checking out next time he's in your manor; that was followed by afters at someone's flat; which itself was followed by a trip to the (excellent) lock tavern to see ashley beedle dropping some balearic beauts upstairs; met up with some chicks I know and then headed to the H&G to catch Brewster (he played the new crazy p record - tasty acid house) and then a brief pitstop at the mother bar before one final last gasp rave off at the fcking DIRE aquarium, where we were subjected to totally unlistenable heavy techiness with no groove, no melody and no personality - I left after 20mins. Never again. The bus journey home was traumatic... but not nearly as traumatic as the headache I'm nursing now

then onto Ministry, Dubfire was amazing, played an awesome set, inspired! Busy, had the Dance Floor jumping! Best set i've seen there for a long time!

how would you cope if the Ministry shut down? Would you call the Samaritans?

Fri: got in from a hectic day at work and had a chill whilst Phil finished his work and then out for a few drinks and a great meal at Santana's in Jesmond - forgotten how great this restaurant is you cant book - you just turn up and wait for a table (by going next door to the pub for a few drinks then the waiter comes for you when your table is ready - so 2 drinks later and we sitting in a manic italian restaurant eating gorgeous garlicy food and having a great time, then a couple of drinks afterwards in the pub waiting for taxi. Phil and I are so out of practice at this drinking lark that the pair of us were flaked on the sofa's pissed by 11.00pm - pair of us made it to bed by 11.30pm and basically passed out...:oops::oops::oops:

Sat: Shopping for last min Cyprus stuff with a hangover - urgh! .... then mate came round for a chat and a catch up with us.

Stayed in with pizza and watched 2 DVD's Spiderwick Chronicles - not as bad as I thought it would be - made me smile anyway and [REC] later that evening, which I have to say I didnt like, just because of its genre really, had me on the edge of my seat but I didnt realise it was going to go the way it went - and it made me feel a bit "icky" to be honest.

Sun: Downloaded some music for the flight then, watched football, listened to Phil screaming at the team in him best Manager impersonation, then went for a walk, a chill, then Sunday lunch..... and a chill on the way back.

a lovely weekend, thoroughly enjoyed myself.....

Bird came down, took her to Tescos for Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. I know how to treat ' em. 8) Then round a mates in the evening, play with dog, few drinks and lads stuff, thoroughly enjoyable. Sunday, saw me nan and played the best game of football possible ever in my life and then went to the cinema to watch Zack & Miri Make A Porno, which was suprisingly, very good and exactly the type of no brain film you need on a Sunday night. Anyway, a very wholesome and more importantly, cheap weekend and I'm happy as a sandboy.

Boring weekend for me, got hair done (which i dont like) and stayed in until yesterday where i only ventured out for a roast @ the local (which was horrible ).

Feel like crap today, got aching body and fever :spank:, although spirits lifted slightly when i received a call from my Dad 30 mins ago to say that im going to have a little half brother or Sister in June :D

Congrats on the little half brother or sister

Friday - drinks after work, my friend had hired out an area in Abbey bar in the City, for our bdays (mine Mon hers Tue) my boss got wind of it and said I really should invite everyone as the director I work for might buy me a bday drink (nobody over 30 goes out in this office) so I did and I ended up with half the office there, my manager, the director I work for and 3 other directors along with the usual young mob, I was so chuffed. One girl said that its because I do such a good job here :lol: so I was really happy, I expected nobody and got loads  and I got a £47 bottle of champagne all to myself which I was even more happier about. The night ended messy as you can expect, and lots of dancing, and being silly.

Saturday - slept in until 1230 (I never do this) think it made me feel worse as the whole day I felt sluggish. Had mexican with friends in the evening which was lovely but I needed to be more awake I think, a few white wines later and I was well away:lol:

Sunday - slept in again, again more feeling sluggish. I definitely feel better when I get up early and do something :spank: went Tescos, bumped into our friends and their little one so we all ended up going for an impromptu roast which was lovely and just what I needed. Then home to mine for the afternoon/evening, for X Factor and I am a Celeb :lol:

I have eaten and drunk so much this weekend I really feel like a fat slug :oops::lol:

Fri...

Tom Owen Caye, Belize
Spearfished, ate and read. Hot sunny day.

In bed by 8.30pm.

Sat... Up at 6am Ranguana Caye

Spear fished, caught a large Red Snapper and got followed by a huge shark (about 6ft) for 15 mins whilst the snapper was tangled in the line about an inch away from my ear.
Got back to the boat and looked it up in the fish book.....Nurse Shark, harmless. But f*ck, he had me going.

Sat night... Great sail for 5 hours over to the mainland... Placencia

Going to have to park up for a few days as a bad weather front is on it's way.

Sunday... Reggae music, Stew Beef, coconut rice, Lighthouse Beer, De'Tacth Beach Bar and Placencia v Belkin football match (complete with DJ and more reggae throughout the game).

Good night at The Gallery on friday. Decent set from Ferry with a few of his old classics thrown in for good measure.

Overdid it Friday night indoors with the missus and got to bed about half 5, roughly half hour before my little girl was up - ouch!! Picked my little boy up then and the pair of them ran me ragged all day! Luckily they crashed and burned by 7pm so I could finish my recovery.

Saturday night got a greasy kebab and watched David Haye fight.

Sunday took kids shopping, fed the horses, watched Chicken Little and then Star Wars. Watched a bit of Darts and that was that.
