we are thinking about booking a table, has anyone had the experience? please tell me a bit about it...included is the cost of entry and a bottle of spirit and mixers, does anyone know if its a large (70cl) one.

thanks 8)

I think its a large one, yes, probably house spirits though.

Do you really think its worth it?

You pay a serious premium for VIP in pacha, and at the end of the day, the atmosphere and fun is to be had with all the normal entries in the main room or the funky room.

I personally dont like the whole idea of VIP, i think its pretty pathetic, especially when you see the wanabee's that reckon they're the nuts sipping cheap champagne, thinking they're above everyone else, when really the true atmospere comes from the normal people who arent supposed 'VIP's'

If you wanna waste your money, go for it! i just find it a bit pretentious to be honest.

how much have they quoted you? Pacha VIP is the most expensive on the island...

agreed with the points you have raised,
but money wise -YES i think its worth it, paid 75 euros last yr for 2 voddies and 2 redbulls.
the table for 2 ppl costs 275 euros, you get 2 x entry and bottle of spirit with mixers and somewhere to sit down ALL NIGHT if you need to rest for a while.
works out around £100 each, and more if you need to drink more...which isnt bad-cos after all it is pacha.
i got a 2 week holiday so im thinking of treating myself for one of the nights im out...yes there prob will be ppl there looking down on people etc etc but im run of the mill average and am fully aware of the dancefloor vibes...im not glued to a vip seat all night so wont be missing out.

was just wondering if anyone had any real experiences or reports to give me a bit of feedback.

el divino charge more for their vip tables i beleive?

Hey again,

Fair one, if you wanna do it then go for it...
Ive been in Pacha VIP once a few years back, but didnt have to pay luckily.

I beleive it is the most expensive though.

I had to sort out some guests at a villa a fortnight ago that wanted VIP for el divino. it was 135 euros each if i remember correctly, but you can get it cheaper, its all about who you know really, and i dont know the boss!!

i dont know why you paid 75 euros for 2 vodka red bulls, they are 12 euros each in pacha...

But go for it, whether you'll think its all its cracked up to be, i dont know, but you wont know till you try eh! and you never know you might pull a celeb!

have a good un...

I've done the VIP thing at Pacha, but fortunately didn't have to pay and drinks were supplied by the bottle.....that was 2 years ago. (feels like yesterday still!)

I have to agree with the other comments on here though, I really do prefer to be amongst the crowd, the only decent thing about VIP was having a seat - Though I personally prefer to head out on to the terrace to cool off.... so no real benefit.....

The VIP area we had was nice for a treat, but not worth the money talked about on this post imha.

Darling I'm doing the VIP at Pacha this year....my sister is getting hitched so we are going lardedaaaaa for her hen night........if you cant do it here then where can you do it.....we are paying £100 too......I've heard its mega exensive drink wise anyway sp works out cheaper to do this

ENJOY

myself and 5 friends (girls and guys) have the VIP booked for Deep Dish @ Pacha on 27th July, worked out @ €137.50 each 8O which is mega expensive so i hope it's worth it..none of us are pretentious snobs or act like it we are all just normal joe soaps who have decided to treat ourselves for the nite so if your paying that money lets hope it's something to remember, any coked up snob looks down on us they'll get a shock anyway;)

Another thing do you get a pass or a wristband with the VIP?And i assume it's ok for you to go back and forth to the normal club itself?

that im not sure, i would hope and think so any how.

this is an email reply i had from clubtix regarding vip at pacha:

Cost for 2 people would be:

A minimum spend on night payable direct to club of 250 euros and a booking fee to secure your table of 25 euros.

This includes fastrack entrance for 2 people, a private table in the raised VIP area in the main room of the club, 1 bottle of spirits and mixers and hostess service. The 25 euros is to secure the booking, the 250 euros is for the first bottle of spirits. Both spirits and mixers are of your choice, a full range is available.A tip of approx 10-15% is expected. On arrival at your table you will be required to provide a credit card which will be authorised for the minimum spend or you may pay cash.

If you are interested, please place your order online at www.clubtix.co.uk and order 1 ticket which is for 2 people. You are paying the booking fee which will secure your table. Once your order has been processed, you will be sent a confirmation and a ticket. Please follow the entrance instructions carefully. You need to go direct to the VIP entrance at the club

If you wish to discuss this further please contact me on + 34 609 924575

From a pure economic standpoint, if you plan on drinking a healthy amount, VIP isn’t as bad of deal as you might think.

Just break down the numbers. Cover at Pacha is going be between 30 and 60 euro each. Just for the math lets say you pay 40 euro to get in, so that’s 80 euro for the two people. Then you drink six Red Bull and Vodkas, which each cost 12 euro each. That works out 6 x 12 x 2 = 144 euro.

So that works out to about 224 euro for cover and drinks.

With the bottle service, your entrance is included. You get one 750 ml bottle which contains 16 drinks, plus you get mixers, so you don’t have to spend money for water.

So you pay 250 euro for table service. Then you subtract 80 for entrance. That leaves 170 for drinks. The 170/16= and your only paying 10.63 euro per drink.

I think a lot of people get hung up having to pay 250 upfront. That’s an intimidating number.

But I think you have to ask yourself, how many time have you woken up after a big “non-bottle service” night and find your wallet empty, and a few crumpled up dollar bills and ATM slips in your pocket.

I can completely understand why people see bottle service as pretentious, and, really it is. I don’t like how clubs today are cordoned off into many different levels of VIP. Clubbing was better it was a non-descript warehouse free for all (that’s why DC-10 is so good) but just from a pure economic standpoint VIP isn’t as bad of deal as you might think.

DC10 has a VIP area now, it's been there for about 4 years.

I know realize this, but I think that it is clear as day that that Pacha and DC-10 are very, very different clubs. Pacha caters, and favors, the “VIP crowd,” with area after area of roped off for VIP and bottle service spots. Pacha is about being seen, being fashionable and climbing the social strata.

Meanwhile, DC-10, while it does have some space set aside for VIP areas, is much more egalitarian. The draw at DC-10 is clearly its terrace, which certainly has no VIP area, and has an inviting free-for-all atmosphere that I mentioned above.

I enjoy both clubs, but they are very dissimilar.

It's not a bad deal but is has been getting more expensive. For example, you have to pay for red bulls separately now. I've done Pacha VIP several times and don't really bother anymore. The Amnesia VIP with the little rooms is more fun :)

to make comments like this, you've obviously never had a "Pacha experience".
