OK Here goes for a speedy guide. I've used Pay Monthly Contracts across all networks. On Average, Pay As You Go puts the charges up to as much as 99p per minute!!

Calling out costs 75p per minute
Receiving costs 75p per minute
Sending text costs 35p
preferred network - Vodafone Spain (Was Airtel)
If you roam on Amena or Movistar its 99p a min calling or receiving and 35p a text
On O2 Pay Monthly
Calling out costs 85p per minute
Receiving costs 94p per minute
Sending Text costs 25p
All three networks (Amena , Movistar, Vodafone = same rate)
On Orange pay monthly
Calling out costs 70p per minute
Receiving costs 30p per minute
Sending Text costs 30p
All three networks (Amena , Movistar, Vodafone = same rate)
On T-Mobile Pay Monthly
Calling out costs 75p per minute
Receiving costs 70p per minute
Sending Text costs 40p to UK, 50p to another mobile abroad
All three networks (Amena , Movistar, Vodafone = same rate)
On Three Pay Monthly
Calling out costs 80p per minute
Receiving costs 30p per minute
Sending Text costs 25p
