Whats up. I'm in a dilemma, I was wondering if anyone knows if a passport is mandatory to get to ibiza. See, i'm unable to attain a passport due to deployment and have plans to go to ibiza for vacation...last minute. Some friends have already made plans to meet me there but I'm worried that I won't be able to get there since I have no passport. I do have a military ID and a valid drivers license....help!! :(

Yes, you need a passport.

You only need a passport as a british citizen if you are travelling from the United kingdom, if you are travelling from another eec country to another eec country you only require some form of identify, i.e. national identity card etc.

The passport office and website confirms this......

Actually, you only legally need a passport to re-enter the U.K., but you just try finding an airline that will let you fly without one!
