Has anyone else noticed a massive police presence at tube stations over the last couple of days, I've not seen as many around since the bombs :?

Funny you say that because when Rachel went home on tuesday morning  she said that there were lots of police on the tube, and at Paddington station. Lots more than normal.

Seems strange, surely if they suspect something they would tell people to be extra vigilent :?

then no-one would use the tube and london would become a nightmare as people spill onto the streets

tonnes of people would have panic attacks, there'd be loads of false calls to the police etc

they already tell us to be extra vigilant, so it would be probably more disruptive to issue a warning of a potential attack

Maybe they're warning those (unts who went on strike who'll be dealing with them if they pull any more days off.

Maybe they too took the soon-to-be infamous "rip your throat out" threat seriously aswell? And are looking for angry blond women with a slight northern accent?

There was me thinking I'd missed an Al Queda warning or something when instead the Met are focusing on 'real' issues
