I've heard about this a few times now and just got this off the Back2Basics board!!

PLEASE FIND THE LIST BELOW OF THE ARTISTES WHO ARE PLAYING AT TRIBAL GATHERING 2005 IN AID OF SUDAN. WE HAVE ONLY 30 £39 TICKETS (INCLUSIVE OF BOOKING FEE) LEFT AT ON 0161 832 1111 OR WWW.TICKETLINE.CO.UK

I'll probably get slated for this cos it's all for charideee and all that but tbh I don't think the line-up is all that, it's not a patch on the Tribal Gathering line-ups of old.

Yeah if it was on my doorstep I'd no doubt pop in and say hi but I'd be quite reluctant to travel half the way up the country for a line-up that you could probably see in London Town over the course of a few weeks.

I agree Babs but its not often they have outdoor events in Leeds so it should be ok and its for charity. The location hasnt been disclosed yet.

I went in 1995/96/97 but there were ones before them. Tribal Gathering isn't run by the same people anymore, Vincent and co just bought the name off them.
 
It's a West Country thing me babber!
Universe were the original tribal gathering crew and the first party was in Bath during '91 (following stacks of illegal ones under the name of factor e).
There were loads of other ones namely 'Into Orbit', 'Big Love', 'Time Machine', 'Adventures on the Pleasure Planet' and the first 'Tribal' which was in '93.
They were annual events from then onwards till they went bust in '98 after the corporates aka mean fiddler/creamfields stamped on them.

I'll never forgive Darren Hughes for that - grrr.
