Tosilitis !!

Man had some action in the sack on saturday night (been a while :-) ) and i have caught tonsilitis problem is ive had it lods of times and it knocks me for 6 !!!!!

the bad thing is it is my birthday saturday and now i cant have a drink cause im on penacilin !!!

Ajnybody got any tips on how to recover from this faster and can i go to work with it ?? it it contageous and did i catch it off this girl ??

Apparently girls are using a new tonsilitis/date rape drug.... ;)
 
If you've had it a few times wont they take your tonsils out?

Or am i being thick and that doesnt stop you getting it? :?
 
Removal of the tonsols is an option but for an adult it can be major surgery !!!

not sure why but its ok if ur a young age

but for an adult it is major surgery !!

Of course you can drink while on penicillin!
Probably not going to heal you, but it can be done. ;)

yea its sorer and harder to recover when ur older, i was only 6 when i had mine out :P

Naah, that's just an urban legend.

Only thing is when you take antibiotics that is killing all the good bacteria in your guts, so you'll probably end up with diarrea if you're drinking. But you should always take probiotics!

its the only thing that soothes it when i get it

me and my sis suffer loads, my mate (26) had hers out before christmas, she says if she got them back and was offered £10,000 to have them out again she wouldnt do it, she lost 2 stone and was constantly spewing blood, wont go into any more detail but its not a nice story

apparently its not soo bad if you dont get an infection but she did and instead of 2 weeks indoors she had 7

I had mine out at 6yrs old - I was off school for 6 weeks after - they split the little membrane that connects your ears, nose and throat - feckin agony!!!! AND the hospital gave me cornflakes to eat for breakfast the next day - ha I puked the biggest bloody clot up on the nurse when she forced me to eat them!!!!

Sunderland Ears Nose and Throat Hospital left a lot to be desired back in the 70's..... :evil: :evil:

I had them out at age 2. I was constantly getting ill for about 18 months up until then. After reading this thread, I'm very happy the 'rents had it done.
 
I had mine out when I was 5

All I remember is getting an Action man Jeep for being brave :oops: :lol:

Mrs Jam had hers out 2 years ago and was off work for 3 weeks afterwards

But now she has a lot more 'room back there'


...which is nice ;)
