I dont know much about them but which one´s the best?
this yeah I had the pleasure of visiting the Las Dalias one, which I felt completely in luv with but is the other one better/bigger/more commercial? let me know

Hi, last year went to Las Dalias I though it was really wonderfull I asked some of the sellers if they was going to be at Es Cana they said they also go but they prefer Las Dalias rather than Es Cana, the first one has a special charm, es Cana is bigger and much more comercial with loads of people. In the end I didn't have time to go so I do not know how exactly this is true, some friends recomended me Las Dalias too instead of es Cana.
I am not going to give Es Cana an oportunity this year, I just going to go to a market once so I would go to the one I know Las Dalias, I really though it was very special and the imitation jewellery very nice and original, quite expensive but nice. I had a cold tea with bot
mint very refreshing.
I think is in this place where every wednesday they do this party called Namaste.
saludos

I had the tea in that little place in the back too, with all the massaging going on. the place was awesome! I really loved it a LOT A LOT!

8O 8O 8O 8O massaging !!!! last year I just saw some sort of big Indian pillows on the floor with people sitting on them and chating and drinking the refreshing tea, I had to drink my tea standing up, no place to seat. And Know you cant get a massage, I will have to try in my visit. :D

Las Dalias is definately the best with more handcraft stalls. Es Canar (near the horrible club-hotel Punta Arabi) is a lot more commercial (lots of stalls even have "We accept Visa"-signs). Go early, it can really become very hot later in the day!

I only went to the Es Cana hippy market. I was disappointed with it, didn't think it was anything special. Lot of the stuff was overpriced in opinion. On one side of the hippy market you heard the horrific sounds of a German pool party.

once again I think I was lucky. I loved the las dalias one, friendly sellers and friendly environment - soooo cool I luved the atmosphere! Could have stayed there for ages and just spend and spend and spend

And this year they all refused to haggle too, which was the point of them or so i thought ...... It was last year anyway

Please do not go to Es Cana!
It is on the ground of the club punta arabi and it is such a big market und only commercial!! After 11 o'clock a.m. there are lots of tourists (thousands...) and it is terrible!!
If you go to see it, you have to visit it before 10/11 o'clock a.m.

To be honest, went to both last week, there isn't a great deal between them.
Punta Arabi is bigger, they both have the same stuff. Yes there was a massage part in the tea area this year at Las Delias.
Whichever one you go to, you will find the odd stall has unique items and the rest is all the same. Reminds me of 50's cartoons where the background just repeats itself.
Still, always go to the Hippy Markets for something to do.

the Las Dalias is by far the best one, more genuine, less touristy if this is important and definately more interesting. I had my palm read and my fortune in cards by a gipsy lady with red hair like flames - was very interesting...
