THE STRIP - YOUR HONEST OPINION

By strip I mean Sugar Sea, Savannah, Cafe Del Mar and Mambo. I used to LOVE that place and Savannah was my fav´place - but now I´m getting really dissapointed, the food gets more and more expensive for each year, the service is mediocre and the whole thing has just become a tad too cheesy (cant believe I said that........)

I've only been there once- 2 years ago, and to be honest I didn't think much if it. I thought the beach was really dirty, the bars quite tatty. We ate at Coastline, which looks lovely, but the services was appalling and my food was inedible.

....haven't been back since.

i WAS WAITING FOR THAT ONE B haha! Well just I think, this was my 6th time and I guess things are looking a bit different now once I´ve tried so many different things. My 7th time is due in 18 days time and I won´t be spending all my nights around the strip. I still like the atmosphere, but the food is NO GOOD!

I've always liked the Strip. Suppose it's always been a bit of a tourists's haven (which of course I am !!!), but I like the food along at Savannah and Sugar Sea and like the atmosphere at some of the pre-parties.

Coastline is very cool, sitting next to the pool watching jugglers / fire eaters while supping a corona.

There are definitely more exciting parts of Ibiza to try out, but i'm not going to knock the area just because some see it as "too obvious" or too touristy.

i had a lovely meal at Coastline last year with me & my then mate . We were only ppl there at the time tho as the sun had just set so the service wasnt bad at all and it was really yummy.

Few years ago it was fine, now it's full of beer boys in football tops clapping like seals

The food at Savannahs is horrible, Mambos the service is so bad I've stomped off so many times I've tried to eat there.

I don't mind round by Coastline or Kanya, if I had to watch sunset at that side I'd go to one of those two. Had some pretty nice meals at both of those in past.

You not mates with her anymore then mambs :?

Sugar sea - like it, nice drinks, nice atmopsphere.
Sav - Gone way downhill, funky room is alright though.
Mambo - always hated it, shit food, shit service
del mar - always hated it
coastline - cool in the daytime, ok food
kanya - even cooler in the daytime, better food
kasbah - The best food in san an!

well Ive always and will always like the atmosphere, but honestly I dont see many beer boys there and not the last time either (last week) - there were actually some pretty good looking peeps, and the clapping wasnt alarming this time either, in fact one of the nights there no one clapped at ALL! 8O

But I must admit the food + service has gone seriously downhill sinse the good ol´2000-2001 days where the menu was different and one still payed with pesetas! i mean: 15 euros for a simple chicken pepper something
Kanya, Kasbah and coastline are not part of the "clapping" strip, they are more for themselves and actually I think coastline was pretty decent...

whats the point of going to the 'strip' when coastline, kanya, and kasbah are up the road? They're all the same sort of thing but 10 times better in every way :D

I'm sorry, but I think Coastline is seriously tacky.

All those fake statues are the sort of things I would imagine in Peter Stringfellow's gaff! And don't get me started on the women dancing in the shallow pools.

no N8, she done that fings that girls do wen they get a new bf - they f*** you off. She can carry on with her coke addiction on her own

ehmm mambobirdette what are u talkin about??

and yeah Clara, agree with the place its not that pretty but at least food + service is better and dont get me started on the dancing chick either haha

well when we were there this weird lady was dancing around all by herself on this platform or whatever and it just was a bit sad really

i voted "never go there" - correct it should be i never will go there again,...it used to be great there years ago, ....today: yuk!!!
