The Gallery once again steps up to mark on Friday 18th September with a line up that is guaranteed to beat back the autumn blues. September can be a strange month for dance music lovers what with the end of festival season and the closing of the White Isle after another outstanding year. Typically, The Gallery offers London clubbers a refuge from the longer colder nights with a vibrant international line up. Argentinean ambassador Hernan Cattaneo headlines The Box with another unmissable session of his unique pastiche of deep melodic and groovy music. Joining him will be the creative originality of John Aquaviva and Zouk resident Aldrin who continue to produce and select music that has an inherent complexity, sparkle and beauty the world over. And providing that ever important platform for this dynamic duo are Gallery residents Gavyn Mytchel and Steve Lee.

Hernan Cattaneo both epitomises and defines the term ‘global DJ’ after 20 years as a force within electronic music. From his early tribal and progressive sets at Clubland in Buenos Aires to later residencies for global brand Cream in South America, Liverpool and Ibiza. Touring with Paul Oakenfold led to performances at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Burning Man in Nevada , Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver and South West Four in London. With releases on John Digweed’s Bedrock and Paul Oakenfold’s Pefecto imprints, and of course his must have instalments of the Renaissance Masters Series and subsequent two Renaissance ‘Sequential’ mixes, Cattaneo really is the crème of the crop… and we can’t wait to have him back for another sure-fire legendary appearance set at The Gallery.

Joining the Box will be a Gallery debut for John Aquaviva. Ever since the founding of Plus 8 Records with partner Richie Hawtin in 1989 and the fame and success that came with it, John Acquaviva has been a driving force in the international music and club scene. Well known for his vast record collection of over 50,000 pieces of vinyl, spanning virtually the entire length of club music history AND having played through it as well, he is acknowledged by many as a DJ’s DJ and genuine pioneer of the house & techno scenes, as proved with his development and introduction of Finalscratch into the market place. Cattaneo + Aquaviva = Heaven!!! But why stop there… next up we have yet more excellence in the Art of the Sound with Aldrin - one of Asia’s most internationally prominent DJs. He has been at the forefront of Asia’s dance music scene, flying the Singapore flag throughout the four corners of the world, garnering acclaim at every stop from press, punters and fellow DJs alike. For the last decade, he has been a musical ambassador to the infamous Zouk Club in Singapore - one of the world’s Top 10 Clubs, as voted countless times by international dance music magazine, including the most recent rankings in dance music magazines DJ Mag and IDJ Magazine. Mega!!

The Bar plays host to the 4th Birthday celebrations of London imprint and party promoters Berwick Street Sessions. Head-honcho Timo Garcia will be getting the party in full swing following last month’s release of his debut artist album with another essential set. And to top it all off, he’s invited the legendary acid house selector DJ Pierre over from the States for a ultra-rare London set.Pierre is of course a real pioneer of the scene whose been producing and djing for over twenty years. Also look out for a live PA from Amber, with DJ support from Darryl Green b2b DJ Lashes. The Baby Box gets down to the sounds of Uberbeat Records, whilst the Loft welcomes the always excellent Subbass.
