Can i just say that i thought the Cross in London is prob one of my fave clubs i have visited in the UK. The settin is just ace. Esp with the nice weather we had on sat is was quality sittin on the terrace. The arch ways are cool too, with varying music in each.

The crowd was really good too, all very friendly etc.

Will defo be back for more!

agree one of my favoutite clubs, need to make sure you know what night you go to avoid a million people turning up..

def in need of a serious @ the cross visit tho

It was space on sat and yeah, it did seem rather busy, but good! However one of the DJs in the arch to the far left as you come in couldn't mix for toffee at about 4-5am...he looked alittle worse for wear!

Along with Turnmills, The Cross is my favourite venue in London.

I think it doesnt get as packed as people think. Apart from special ocassions like birthdays or Eric Morillo..
Serious last month had the perfect amount of people. Type also rarely gets crammed.

Sound system isnt that great, but then youve got the lovely terrace to make up for it. 8)

Plus theres always a friendly crowd.

Arf! Was just checking another and a DJ who used mail about doing a co-pro etc is on there saying what an honour it was to play the closing set in the middle arch at The Cross on Sat and that it's the best he ever played

Ah well, I've never heard him, maybe he had off night, although it's worrying he doesn't realise it

The DJ who couldn't mix was in the very end arch.....the one where there is a glass door with a cross behind it.

The main arch was closed by an excellent DJ....manage to catch the last 1/2 hour of his set, as the DJ who couldn't mix was doing my head in. The guy in teh main arch finished with Phill Collins- 'Shes an Easy Lover'....which went down really well!

Ah, this was the guy I was talking about, 'cos he says he finished with that.

So.. he's good then?

The Cross is definately my favourite club in London. I have to say i do not think i have ever had a bad night in there. Much more friendly people than many other places, The End,Pacha,Turnmills plus because it is not advertised much there tends to be a "well up for it" crowd in there.

Serious is quite simply your bread and butter of clubbing.

I'm fond of the cross because its quite different to a lot of clubs. But I think fabric is without a shadow of a doubt the best club in London, since the closure of home there is not a venue in the same league.

I think the End is also quality but again not in the same league.

Fabric has the lushest soundsystem, its nice and large, underground line ups, good atmos, nice chill out area oh and the laser in room two. I could go on :P

I am personally am not to fond of Fabric - I have two friends who are trying to persuade me to go to Turnmills tonight as Armin Van Buren is playing but i am not too sure- any thoughts on this?

If you like your trance Armin is always good at Turnmills. My issue with Turnmills is that they always overcrowd it, however I don't think it should be too bad tonight cos the Oakenphant is playing Crasher@Heaven and a lot of people are going to Global Gathering tomorrow.
