Things are hotting up in the TDK camp as they steam roll towards the August bank holiday weekend. Renowned for being eclectic, forward-thinking and truly inspirational, the event has built a reputation on breaking new bands along side hand pick legends and musical icons; and this year will be no different. We are delighted to announce the first round of acts for this year’s ground breaking event.
First and foremost we can confirm the headline act for Sunday will be none other than the man like SASHA… one of dance music’s most respected DJs and a consistent pioneer of new trends, new sounds and new boundaries. In club culture there are good DJs and good producers, but there are few people who successfully do both. Alexander Coe, alias Sasha, is one, and throughout his career he has specialised in the most joyful side of dance music, covering it with legend and innovation. Since 2005, he has been using Ableton Live software instead of turntables as a basic instrument in his legendary sessions. One of the world's most highly regarded DJs will play for the first time at TDK Cross Central; a rare and exclusive treat for London clubbers.
The confirmations continue with further pedigree artists including LADYTRON now added to the bill, Ladytron fuses together the cold darkness of computer rock with lingering catchy hooks found only in great pop songs....This is a rare treat to catch the Liverpool-based boy/girl four-piece Live. Further established acts continue to join the bill including CLOR, ANNIE, KING CREOSOTE & BOOKA SHADE playing alongside some breaking acts such as some truly brilliant ‘Ones to Watch’ from the USA, GANG GAND DANCE & SPANK ROCK who are the hottest thing since bacon fat right now and will be bringing their exclusive Live Show's all the way from NYC and Baltimore, plus YOUNG BLOOD BRASS BAND, ALEX SMOKE and SHY CHILD all with something new to add to this ever-evolving event.
Shaping up to be a veritable feast of inspired talent and eclectic electronic grooves… Hospital Record’s bring us the devastatingly good LONDON ELEKTRICITY, whilst breaks heroes PLUMP DJS also debut at this true music-fest. With more and more musical geniuses joining the party each day such as ELLEN ALLIEN / IVAN SMAGGHE / JOEY NEGRO / FOUR TET and ANDREW WEATHERALL – the list is a true reflection of our patrons’ discerning tastes and continual demand for quality. Not forgetting an exclusive DJ Set from one of the UK's hottest Bands - BLOC PARTY, the guys are taking time out of the studio to play a killer set just for TDK.
This is just for starters.......

TDK continues to produce line-ups to inspire a new generation of music lovers whilst exciting current purveyors of electronic and guitar led music. With King’s Cross the subject of massive cultural redevelopment right now the event is more poignant that ever and the backdrop of urban regeneration more fitting then ever before. With this in mind TDK are going to be upping the production stakes to ensure the Goods Yard is transformed into a magical, musical village attacking the senses from every side.
Expect the site to be transformed with extensive lighting and visual spectacles, washed with theatrical lighting; a lazer canopy will fall over the site whilst the entrance will take on the persona of a colourful street market. Food stalls from around the world, extended seating and resting areas, masseurs and street entertainers plus an array of other attractions will guarantee that this is an intimate and energetic setting for London’s most forward thinking music event.
