SW4 and after party?..Bank holiday mischief?

I arrive in london for a couple of days before I head to Ibiza on monday, August 28th... and figure I should go to one of the Bank holiday festivities to prepare for Ibiza. i'll miss Carnival, but have been to that many times so i know what i'm missing.

Last year i went to SW4, which was good, but wonder of there is something better? i do *want* to go all out and have a mad weekend, but think i should preserve some of that for ibiza :twisted: 8)

I only have the Saturday and sunday in London, am off early monday to ibiza, so no all nighters sunday night please...(although i'm sure i could be tempted....but have enough of that coming up in Ibiza for the following 10 days!)
 
I'm going to be @ SW4 on Saturday. Then off to TDK Cross Festival on the Sunday...looking forward to the latter more...
 
thanks ! Ive heard about cross central too. as much as id love to, two days of it? hmnnn... thats why i thought SW4, just a nice day in Clapham common with all of sunday to rest up for ibiza.

the line up isnt that great at SW4, but i do like carl cox...

What sort of stuff do you like? I thought it more or less covered all genres (aside from minimal).

Thankfully for me SW4 caters for exactly my tastes.. Desyn Masiello, Danny Howels, Sander K, Steve Lawler, Seb Fontaine.. BLISS 8)

The downside is the soundsystem, not the best unless youre next to the speakers.

Still im very much looking forward to it
 
yes i do like all genres... not a big minimal fan, but some cocoon-y minimal i don't mind.... still always open to new music, parties, festivals

i will most likely end up going to SW4, i still had a great time last year, andhad all day Sunday to sleep before my monday morning ibiza. i think this year i will try and venture away from the main stage... last year i just stayed at the main stage and you're right, sound wasn't great..

also, will probably pick SW4 as i may end up going on my own...when i go to london, i'm usually the one who has to drag my friends out

You can buy tickets for just one day at Cross Central.

SW4 will be a nice day on the common, I'm looking forward to it too. :p The sound in the tents is better and there was a brilliant atmosphere in the one where Lawler played last year (although it was nearly unbearably hot).
 
I think will do SW4 on the saturday, ... and give the tents a go this time.. :)
or MAYBE do cross central on sunday too
(whatever happened to my plan of being sensible before ibiza?!?!)

there is just no point pretending that your sunday is gonna be a day of rest and relaxation before ibiza. may as well make the most of it.

so i guess you've achieved what you set out to do then, haven't you??

i.e. having lots of people tell you to do something so you can use that as an excuse to get up to mischief.;) :lol: :twisted:

oh dear... I just noticed that the sunday is not a day event.....goes until monday morning..

maybe i'll have to be a lightweight and just do SW4 :?

Yeah because every weekend I go out I have loads of luggage so I know of loads of places to store it :lol: ;)

hmnnn..... Maybe i could leave it Kings X station left luggage and then get the stansted express from liverpool street....
or just be sensible and only do SW4..
