Spainiards in San Antonio

Hi there,

Im going to S. Ant this July, have not been to Ibiza before. Browsing around it looks as there are mostly British there. And that most of the fun involve big clubs etc.

Is there not any typical spanish marcha in there as well ? I mean, pubs, bars (no entrance fees) that are open till 5-6, no DJ focused music (going to a pub for fun, not to listen to some famous DJ), spanish people...

BTW, I have nothing against the Brits and the clubs, just wondering what we can count with when we get there (we are a group of spanish pals)

most of the bars in san antonio focus on a british/international crowd.
hay mucha marcha espanola pero en invierno. creo que aun en 'la noche' en el west hay musica espanola.

hay bares en ibiza ciudad donde van los jovenes ibicencos y espanoles

creo que 'blues' en el puerto es el mejor

cierto. zonas como el paseo marítimo (keeper, pk2), el puerto (de miedo, tirapallá) o figueretas - es vivé (spasmos, amadeus) están repletos de bares orientados hacia el público español. si quieres escuchar música nacional prueba con el desván o embassy of ibiza - ambos cerca del puerto!!

por supuesto - blues está abierto casi todo el año!!

Resumiendo, la marcha española esta en Ibiza ciudad, y en San Antonio igual hay algo no?

De todas formas, no somos de pueblo , y si el ambiente es propicio no hay ningun problema en relacionarse con gente de otros sitios!!

Mas q la gente sea extranjera lo q no se si me va a gustar tanto es la idea de ir a las discos a ver tal o cual dj. Nosotros vamos a pasarlo chachi, nos da igual q la musica la pinche un dj o sea una cinta grabada para toda la noche.

Habra q dividir las noches entre las diferentes zonas para probar...
Y como esta d gente en julio? demasiada gente o se puede andar sin agobios?

don't forget Top 21 ibitza, in playa d'en bossa, and friday and saturday are great fun - pure spanish, very cheap drinks and good vibe,

maybe before that you can have a drink in bora bora - also good fun ;-)

As for the accent of Madrid. You really speak like this? I do like it if it's not strong, it's pretty nice, but the strong accent of the people 100% from Madrid is terrible! Sounds like a cocky one!

Madrileño accent it's ok, the worst are the "typical words" like Fenomenal. Sounds posh

I do, I use chachi, but I dont have an accent from Madrid, actually I am from the Paig Vagco
