Space resident and man of the moment 'DJ Villeneuve' has been secured for the next TwistedFunk event 'Haunted House' on Saturday October 29th.

DJ Villeneuve has been the highlight of this years Ibiza season and has been tearing apart the space terrace regularly since its opening party in June climaxing with the stand out set of the day at the closing weekend earlier this month.

To quote DJ mag "Villeneuve's distinct blend of dirty house transports you to a higher plain, sticking in your mind long after he's finished. He manages to share with you some of the sights and sounds he has absorbed and takes you on a journey far beyond the shore you inhabit."

Villeneuve will be joined by TwistedFunk residents

Ed Rockstar
Agent Abraham
Pedro Gonzalez

hot off the back of their new Track release 'Raise your Hands' out on Azuli now.

the Lavish Annexe room, will be hosted by our Ibiza guests & new friends, SASSY, where:

Rob Hanlon
David Jenkinson
Odiri Iwuji
Jonathan Moore (Trees For London )
Tobe Lerone & Alf Garnish ( Blah!)

will be serving up some serious, funky house complete with Live sax from the awesome Miss Bee (who ripped up the terrace at this years space closing party!!)

On a serious note...whilst we are all jumping to the beat we have decided to donate £2 from each ticket sale and discretionary collections on the door, to a cause very close to our hearts.
Martine, one of our closest friends and part of the twistedfunk family, lost both her legs during the London bombs this summer, and the cost of care and rehabilitation is mounting with little support from the government at this time. We can help make a difference and have a good time!!

Tickets are priced at special advance price of £10 and are available now so please visit http://www.twistedfunk.com for more details.

Venue: Copyright Club 110 Pennington Street, St Catherines Dock (Near Tower Bridge), London E1 9BB

Open: 10PM - 6AM

That was a one-off. That happened, er, twice !

Dougie is a great dj and top bloke, so well worth getting along to see him.
The Audiofly mixes of his "You Think You're Jesus" track are out this week as well.
Shame he can't drink for shit though !

Gotta love journalists! I've seen him at Space on three occassions and while each time I was thoroughly entertained, I've garnered very little knowledge of his previous holiday destinations! Having said that, coming from London it is accurate to say that I was 'far beyond the shore I inhabit'. So that's alright then!

Would pop along if I wasn't elsewhere that date.

Alright Buckley, What happened at space then? was he a little worse for wear? I hit it a little bit too hard at esvive and didnt make it through space..... should know better

 Can happen to the best of us.

No, he was fine at Space (although I'm referring to the WLS closing not Space closing proper the following week). Stu references to his drinking prowess is because they share and agency and are mates as a result.

How was your Es Vive do? Any photos?

Ahh gotcha, I didn't see him play but by all accounts one of my mates had a bit of a moment on the terrace.... how did it go for you? My mate made it to your villa party eventually, they got a bit lost, but hey it's not a good night unless you get lost and have a bit of a drama!

Party went well, not as busy as we had hoped for early doors by the pool but was pretty rockin in the Experience bar. Photos are up on www.twistedfunk.com just click on the gallery and dont worry we won't hammer you with a load of junk email.

Won't be there a week later Mark! (Which I believe is when this was taken?)

Thought so! they very kindly rescued me and my other half from the wilderness of Ibiza when we got stranded with no taxis to be seen at the villa party in September.

they sent us a text about your party next week so put 2 and 2 together! ;)

Not sure what the plans are for next week yet but if we are out clubbing it is definately a possibility. ;) Villeneuve rocked the Space Terrace!

Cool, So I hear..... I missed him due to being a messy F*ckwit! Did he play DC10 on Mon? Was there but cant really remember a great deal about what went on apart from really dirty deep whob whob..... and a really foxy little chick behind the bar on the gravel terrace. mmmmmm Oh yeah and a guy with a massive chuppa chupp lolly pop..... weird :?

not sure. We didn't make it to DC10 because we managed a whole 16 hours straight through to 6.30 in the morning in space. We weren't really fit for anything else after that
