I think this year Pin-up is closed, so I'll miss SW and SH. Does anyone know if there is a similar night on the island?

lol, i'd say these nights are nothing like soul heaven, completely different sort of house sound.
 
Yes, I was looking for deep & soulful house, in a Joe Clausell or Kerri Chandler way. Anyway, I'll try to catch Dimitri from Paris or Sandy Rivera @ Defected.

Also check who's at Pure Pacha when you're there, last year when we were there they had the legend that is Danny Krivit :D
 
I'd like to know this too. Only just recovered from the last Southport, which was stunning as usual, and would like to know if there is any quality Soulful house and US garage on the white isle.

Anyone know if Joey Negro is playing on the island this year?

Pin up last year was good but, no where near as popular as it should have been.

I didn't go to last Southport, Nov was fab, have heards mixed report bout thois one, didn't the Hump man go in a proper hump 8O
 
Yeah Humphries left half way through the last tune in a huff cause he was told he couldn't play another. To be honest his set wasn't the best though, quite hard, and he didn't really look as though he wanted to be there. Everyone else was on top form though, the PA's were fantastic all round another great SP. Joe Clausell play superbly and Kathy Brown doing the live pa was fantastic. Joey Negro, was as always, perfect for the powerhouse.

The Nov one was great too, best thing about the May ones though is sunshine ..... sort of :)
