As above thank you very much.
Good to see you all - special mentions to birthday girl Kang, flanked with So...'s very only MAW pairing and pals. (Not forgetting the Scoobies of course). Mr Scoobie's identical twin brothers are also due a thank you for having different haircuts - that one unique identifier stopped a lot of people getting very confused
Mark Sun started things off in style, depsite being dogged by limiter for the bulk of his set due to the unwanted attention of the river police. Apparently they had already stopped 2 boat parties for being too loud by the time we sailed So... it was best to do as we were told until we got out of earshot. By the end of his set the whole boat was absolutely jumping. Must of been the sEa breeze, eh?
After Escapism stalwart Ady had continued in the same vein, Dempsey jumps up to do his thing, but remembering that we have a captive audience who were ready to go from the moment they boarded, carries on the party music. Good work fella - slightly more obvious than our usual style but exactly what was needed. Last up was Escapism head honcho Chris Lloyd who closed the party with a flourish. 8)
So... we docked at 3 and jumped into cabs and headed en masse to Turnmills for Smartie Partie and board favourite Alex G (Bubble) on the decks. Always good to see ya Al and nice to see Holly G and Cookie for the first time in a while. Rather embarassingly, I also ran into SP promoter Trace and SP DJ Matty Wells, both who I'd met in an identical t-shirt (with the latter) incident in Space last year. Guess what I was wearing on Saturday night - doh!
Somehow, post Turnmills, we ended up in a cab to Temple, only to find that the Sunday morning do at Temple Pier is no more. So... most of our number headed off back to 'norfest Norf' London for a domestic afters. Not my mate Al and I - off to Twist at Fire in Vauxhall. For those you who know the place I'll leave you to imagine the comic potential of two straight blokes, mashed beyond recognition, one of whom can't resist telling complete strangers about his second a55hole (ripped for himself in a sitting on a pint glass accident) whenever he's off it, stumbling around there on a Sunday morning. Hello to x-amount and friends who, luckily, seemed more amused than scared by Al's antics.
Left there at 11.45am, on the balcony of the Punch and Judy in Covent Garden just after opening. One pint in, realise that I've seen the street performer down below do the exact same act on a post-club Sunday afternoon before! He was crap then and he's still crap now So... we head off towards Soho to get some poppers.

En route a couple of lads from where we live spot us and come and drag us into the pub they're in. A few more West End Boozers and it's 6pm, So... we jump into a black cab and head towards home, where more booze, spliff and poppers are consumed while watching Romeo & Juliet with 'the current', our housemates and a few other mates. Finally made it to sleep about 1am Monday morning.
Luckily I'd thought things could get a bit 'hectic' and arranged to be off yesterday.
Good job I can recouperate for a while now.......well until I hit Ibiza on Thursday
