(And yes, I know it doesn't say "So..." anywhere - funking printers!  )

Should add that we'll be celebrating Kangs birthday aboard So... prepare for some carnage

£17 does that get you into the afterparty venue as well :?

Unlikely to I'm afraid - although hopefully the follow on will be a very cheap deal to get into a decent club night from 3 until the morning.

The economics of running a fairly small boat party (about 250 people) means putting up a lot of cash for a very, very small return and that's only if we sell every single ticket.

I've been on big club's pre-club boat parties before and been disappointed to find they've hired a boat stuck a tinny system on and got a couple of kids on there to DJ. Ours will have decent sound, lights and smoke and will be like a club on a boat, not a boat with a bit of music on.

We've also gone for a second room playing something different from the main floor to give you a bit of choice during the night. Again, the cost of a second system and DJs doesn't stack up if we wanted to make money, but the idea is for it to be great and for you to want to come again.

Hope that explains the cost Nitefly. It'll be a great night out and if all goes to plan (which I'm confident it will) we should be able to do another bigger one, with the economy of scale making it cheaper, by the end of the summer.

Can now confirm that the follow on will be at Turnmills for Smartie Partie -£5 concession entry vouchers available on the boat.

Think Alex G is playing there, although I think we might miss his set? Al?

####UPDATE####

Tickets for this event are also available direct from yours truly, cash only, no booking fee. PM me or email me on buckley@liftparties.co.uk to arrange.

thanks for telling me that just after I've forked out £8 on booking fees! :? ;) ;)

Sorry - only became the case yesterday. Funny enough it was Neil (Mr. Scoobie's bro' fact fans), who asked if I could sort something out to avoid the booking fees.

Neils should pay you £8 for putting you in this embarrassing situation, Buckley. You could then use half of this to buy Drew a drink in Ibiza and the other half to pay Mr Scoobie for working the door at the next So....

Stop putting temptation my way........ Do you reckon I would get a birthday snog off him then???? Mind you - wouldnt count on him turning up as he is doing his birthday party at Space the day before!!! 8O 8O

I would rather touch feet that go to the match but the other half would NOT let that happen - he will not miss the first match of the season..
