small spring signes already??

here the sun is shining from a blue blue sky. not a single cloud in sight, and tho its really cold its still got this bright gorgeous spring light to it outside! makes me feel happy!
cant wait for the dafodils to blooom, and all the other small things to happend and when I passed the huge tree in the yard today I noticed it had already developed these (what-do-you-call-them-in-english??) round ones that havent turned into leaves yet!
 
in spanish they're called capullos. this is also an interesting insult. as i knew only the insult first i was most surprised to see a florist's shop called los tres capullos!

They're called Buds!! ;)

I agree IG this time of year is really nice, the sun is out here too and the sky is clear, bring on the daffodills!
 
In Mallorca is still freezing cold, but now I see from my windoww the sun is shining a litlle bit.
Two weeks ago you could read in the newspapers that almond trees was full of flowers, the local newspapers said it was a nice surprise, I thougth now with the snow lots of plants will die, and the flowers of the almond trees too, but we been lucky and the expected big damages in plants and trees has not happened.
I just can't wait to the summer arrives, a sunbath this is what I want.
 
It's lovely and warm and sunny up here in Yorkshire, more like late March than Jan.

It's getting me all looking forward to the summer.
 
Dont wanna spoil the mood but its clouded over here and rumour has it its gonna be soooo cold this weekend that possibilty of snow! :evil:

Ooohh the birds are singing and the sky is blue.??..and the blossom is on the trees?

It's cloudy here too .. but there's that SMELL in the air .. the daffies (daffodils) are starting to poke through in the garden and my bay tree now have big, thick buds on it ...
In fact, am going to go and have a wander in the garden after my cup of tea !
