Ooooooh.... tough call. I like them both but my mum makes a MEAN shepard's pie. Whats the difference between them anyway?

And what about a cumberland pie! Now there's a talking point!

cumberland pie - now that's a good pie.

The difference is in the ingredients - i think shepherds pie has more veg in it.

Cottage pie...without a doubt!

My Spanish pals go nuts for it when I make it! Don´t think I stick to the "official" recipe though...but it tastes amazing if I say so myself!

I always assumed that Sheperds Pie was lamb because shepherds have sheep?!
