Turfed off work site this morning 8O
Locals evacuated too, can't understand why some of them were giving the cops gyp when they're being evacuated for their own safety :? :roll: :?:

I was quite chuffed, at least I got out of taking notes for an early meeting ;)
 
Glad i don't work in the city centre.

We had a bomb scare here when the G8 leaders came to Sheffield. Place became gridlocked for most of day (just for a change :roll: )

2 controlled detonations took place too near the law courts a couple of days before the bombs in London.

Didn't hear about owt happening in Sheffield.

Hmm did get worrying when they told us to walk to the end of the field & behind the houses, they also evacuated the locals 8O

The local pub was good though they laid on coffee, tea & water for us

It wasn't in Brum though, or it would of made the news. But being an MoD site I suppose take makes us a prime target for security alerts.
 
loads of scares ahppening in notts at the moment.

streets were closed off yesterday and today the corner house was evaccuated due to an 'incident'. gonna be like this for ages. :!:
