Sad news

Have to say I don't know of the fellow, but good on him for partying till that age.

The column in the link makes interesting reading. Take it he was partial to the occasional strong brandy. ;)

RIP

Very sad  I remember him, he was a permanent fixture in DC10.

Does anyone know what happened :?

At least he went doing what made him happiest.

cardiac arrest, according to one of the newspapers :!:

the same newspaper includes some comments by andreas simon of dub magazine, where he collaborated in the past. and this is what appears in their website:

zgy om is dead

... while doing what he liked the most: partying. he became 78 years old and was best friend of all girls amd members of this our big family, good alma and always a haven of power and force. we miss him terribly, but we know he has a special place in whatever there comes, and we will always keep him in our hearts.

big love first, last and always

Was there waiting outside and I saw the body of Zgy on the ground
People were still dancing and screaming inside and having fun.

I've founded this situation too sick (macabre) for me and went back at the playa.

I founded the weekend to crowded, each year more and more people are coming. I think I won't go for the closing.

With Zgy, his only regret would have been that it was this year's opening party and not the closing one, that this happened. He died doing what he loved at 78 years old. I would take that over a lot of ways to go.

What is even sadder is that two 19 year old's also lost their lives this weekend.

No one of us is going to stay here. Zgy, look after us wherever you are and keep blessing our parties!

Instead of RIP, let's hope he'll Party for Ever!
