special effects overload

yeah so???

I was at the press night for "a new hope" back in 1977, my dad got tickets from a mate of his who was a journo at the Manchester Evening News. It was amazing, I have been hooked since and i am really looking forward to it!!!

the bit where the "20th Century Fox" music finishes and the star wars music starts, still gives me goosebupms!!! :P

saw it last night

brilliant - back on form for Star Wars

not the best acting (altough Ian McDairmid as Palpatine was v.good) but the whole movie had more of a feel of the original trilogy of it.

I enjoyed it! Very dark and gory in bits but a good film. Wish Ewan didn't have to speak in that silly voice though and have a big beard!

does darth vader speak?? if so who does his voice now after the demise of James Earl Jones??

I haven't seen it yet. I'm waiting until i'm in B'ham next week so i can go to Star City and see it in a Lucasfilm THX certified cinema.....like Lucas intended it to be seen. Seeing it in a non-THX cinema is meant to degrade the experience quite some what.

YKTS

THX cinemas are amazing if the film being shown has been optimized for it 8)

Enjoyed it, I'm a star wars fan again :D - kept thinking 'why the funk did it take you bastards 3 movies to get it right'!

The movie is much better than episodes I and II. But I still think that they found a lame excuse to kill Padmé.

The transformation of Anakin in Darth Vader is historical!

Worth seeing it.

"Lord Vader, rise!"

Hahah people in the cinema actually started laughing when the medical droid announced the reason for her ill health

ok!!!

can we leave the plot underwraps please!!!

we all know luke & leia's mother died, but we would like to find out for ourselves, how exactly that came to be!!

Mark,

what about this: they can fly accross the universe but they cannot do an exam to know that Padmé was carrying twins.
