Let us know what you think about any of the 1500 or so bars and restaurants on our magical island. Good or bad, tell us here....

here's a sample... short, snappy, and informative - please follow the format....

Name: Rias Baixas
Where: Calle Cervantes, San Antonio
Food: A Galician restaurant specialising in seafood, both fish and shellfish, but meat eaters are catered for too.
Style: A converted (and newly renovated) townhouse with a calming, relaxing atmosphere - it's like being in someone's drawing room! Also has a lovely, quiet, outside terrace, and its own parking space.
Opinion: For me the combination of great food, lovely atmosphere and décor, and the efficiency of the staff, who were ever-present (but not overbearingly so) made this a night to remember
Price: 3 courses plus wine etc for 2 people €60-70 depending on what you have.

Name: Es Caliu

Where: Ibiza - san jose road

Food: Meat restaurant, no vegetarian food, large portions

Style: Old finca, with beuatiful gardens, and log fires for the winter...set in the countryside

Opinion:Very good food, in a lovely setting, with friendly, helpful and professional staff. Great value for money

Price: if you can manage 3 course, a bottle of wine for 3 people it may cost about 50 - 70 euros.

es caliu

I'm sure I took that photo
Just to add, that last October they were "experimenting" with salmon(thats fish if I remember rightly!!) and to note that they are closed for much of December and January and do not open for lunch in July or August. It's definitely my favourite restaurant on the island, but then there are hundreds I haven't visited - YET!!

ibizapeople

STEPHEN, YOU SCHOULD DEFINATELY GO! It´s really good and nice - The atmosphere is great. ROBO: Cool Ibiza-people are people who love the island and are there for the love of it, not only to get drunk and throw up on the pavement as many of the brit´s tend to do (sorry, but true!).
Hope this answer qualifies!

Have a nice day!

a bit late here aint i, but may i suggest Pikes, not to stay in obviously, just for food, well thats all we could afford anyway, absolutely gorgeous place.

wheres the best pepper steak??????! -LOVE that stuff :)

Pepper steak, kinder buenos, Pacha, Sasha, Erick Morillo and quality beats and vibes. NICE. Stick Christine from work on my arm and ill be in heaven :D :p

Don't know about the pepper steaks, but the best steaks I had in my 2 weeks there was Kasbah and Coastline Cafe... superb and the best views on the island. Easily my 2 fav restaurants in Ibiza.

Name: Bali Beach Indian Restaurant
Where: Playa Den Bossa, next to the beach up from Space next to the Garbi hotel just about, accessible from the beach or the main Playa Den Bossa road.
Food: Traditional Indian
Style: Owned by the Ancient People mob it has cool soft lighting, drapes everywhere with normal tables and chairs plus 3 or 4 cushioned seating areas with low tables, nice and airy and right next to the beach with views over to Ibiza Town.
Opinion: Top notch Indian food in nice surroundings with extremely helpful and polite staff. We ordered 2 Naan breads to start and I can say I have never seen such a big Naan, then we ordered 2 Chicken Madras's with Pilau rice and the portions are huge, at one point we thought there was roast potatoes in the sauce........... it was the Chicken which came in huge chunks. Unfortunately we were unable to eat the full meal and had tp leave a little, which made us look like we didn't fully enjoy it. But I'm most definately going back this year.
Price: 2 Courses including 2 drinks each came to about €40.

if we're talking about indian restuarants then "the curry club" npt far from mamco's etc is the place to go! excellent food, decent portions and really nice atmosphere1

Name:burger king
Where[/b San Antonio just past bar m on the prom
Food: burgers, chips, onion rings, tomato sauce etc
Style: flame grilled burgers and chips made from yeast watered down fizzy soft drinks,u know the drill
Opinion: brilliant if u want a quick bite to eat but u may feel a little quasy afterwards or may still feel hungry if u dont like burger king just go next door to kfc
Price:5 euros for a meal no refunds.

Name - Coastline
Where - up the sunset strip round the bend and voilahhh your here look out for the huge neon sign on the apmnt roof.
Food - Spanish style meats fish and seafood, with a hint of british flavour.
Style - Coastline is a sunset cafe bar which looks nice and has a small swimming pool, used to be bigger but has split in two, the other half being renamed Sunsea. They have a seperate area that is the restaurant that is segrogated from the bar area and the Dj, although you can still hear he Dj but not as loud. Has a small terrace surrounding the pool outside. Has outside and inside seating areas in the restaurant. We sat on the balcony overlooking the terrace and pool.
Opinion - We ate Seafood Paella and it was excellent, it had Prawns, Mussels, Lobster, Crab, Shark fin, Squid, Shrimps, Coccles and Sea Bass in iit. It tasted gorgeous. We had bread for starters as niether of us is a big eater. The service and the staff were excellent although i think we had the best waitress, whom i tipped 20 euro's
Price- 17 euro's each for Paella, bread was inclusive and 20 euro's for a very good chardonnay. This was very reasonable for the standard and service we got. Other meals were around the 10-15 euro mark.
V Good.

Mmmm I love paella will definately go there to try it. Cheers dfunky ;)

Name- Kumhares
Where - San Antonio Bay on the beach.
Food - Indonesian menu
Style - How do you describe it, Based around a tower with a wooden canopy surrounded by an orange enclosure with tables and comfy chairs in the bar, cafe area. Lots of sculptures and plants and many hippy stalls selling all sorts of things. The resturaunt area is nr the back and is located under what can be described as a huge tree like sculpture. Low tables and floor cushions to sit on, very realistic.
Opinion - We sat out front at first to watch the sunset listening to the mellow sounds of the dj and the chello player sat on a comfy chair with my feet up, very relaxing. Resturaunt opens just after sunset. Sat on a nice table in the corner. Eat bread and Crab salad for starters and had Monkfish & Seafood casserole for 2 plus a jug of fruit and cava Sangria. The service was slow as there was only one waitress for 6 tables eating. I enjoyed the food but Jodie found the sauce in the casserole too salty. There were also many mussels that wern't fresh as they wouldn't open with ease. The surroundings were excellent and we even had the treat of a belly dancer dancing round the tables ( i got invited to join her for a wiggle LOL ) let down by the service although having said that i was that relaxed by the whole vibe of the place i didn't care that much.
Price - Crab salad was 8 euro's main course was 25 euro's each sangria was about 20 euro's total about 80 euro's
V good.
