Psytrance !!

hey hey !
I know it's not Ibiza's speciality, but i was curious to know if there's soe psytrance/goatrance in Ibiza ??

And being at it, is there still some good melodic trance ??

there was a night on in privilage last year think it was a thursday but not a 100% sure. had people like john oo flemming playiing i noticed one week so they must have been playing psytrance up there. sorry i cant be more helpful with the name of the night or what night it was on.
 
There's a Goa trance night at Las Dalias on Wednesdays called Namaste- as far as I'm aware that's still going ahead. Tribe of Frog Ibiza will NOT be on the island this year but it's rumoured that Can Fly will be doing a psy trance night on Sundays, again at Las Dalias*
Ibidelyc were at Somny last year and have already had an opening party of sorts in the back room at Eden in San An- they will almost certainly be putting on parties somewhere, possibly in conjunction with Spun Records who had the night at Privelege last year. If all else fails, when you're on the island go to Kumharas and ask if they know of any psy trance nights happening (they may well have some advance tickets too). Sorry I can't be more specific.

*Las Dalias is near San Carlos in the North East of the island

For anybody that could be interested in psytrance in Ibiza, after a little research here's what i came up with so far.

Ibidelyc crew (who usually works with spun records) will be producing partys again this year but their line-ups are not revealed yet neither the venues.. They used to make it @ privilege, eden and pacha.. www.ibidelyc.org

There will be the Namaste wednesdays again at Las Dalias which is a psytrance night, but there will be no more tribe of frog at this same club.. I heard tribe of frog might come again to do one or a few shows but this is nothing sure.. http://www.spotlight-forums.com/showthread.php?t=34973

on 6th may 2006 i went to a "psytrance-"party @ eden ... only a small ugly room was open ... party:spank: , people:spank: , place:evil: :spank: :evil: , atmosphere :evil: :spank: :evil: ... so "good" :evil: :evil: :spank: :spank: :spank: :evil: :evil: ...
... i left after 20 minutes ...

pura vida psytrance sessions

Hi all Ibiza Crew,

I am Rupps form Sinergia, a Psy-trance collective based in Madrid, Spain. This summer we are excited as we are moving to Ibiza to make parties on a weekly basis on "Pura Vida" club, every Saturday.

Last Saturday it was a great success and a privilege to have Dj Roody Alien (Brazil) and DJ BIOFA (Brazil) spinning Full-On for your listening pleasure.

You can check our webpage for additional details. We plan to make BIG outdoor parties this summer.

In Mid-June, Dunle DJ (one of the few Trance DJ's spinning with turntables) will try to set the island on fire, and we plan to make a Live Trance session as well. Stay tuned psytrance lovers !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I've heard that there are psykadelic parties on some beaches...does anybody know were? I think its so much sweeter on outside parties then in big clubs...
 
I agree with you psytrance parties are so much better outdoors.. especially on beaches ahhhhhhh !!!!! :p 8) :p

I really hope to catch a few when i'll be there, but i don't count on it though !! For the best beach psy parties, gotta go in Mexico or India !!

yeah mexico and brazil is sepost to be big..but in india not any longer...they banned the parties in goa so there are no parties there any more.... as soon as the past 10 at night the police came and stopped the party... so its not like it used to be....so im hopeing to see some goa parties in ibiza...:);)
