prices for taxis from san an to clubs?

does anyone have an idea of prices for taxis to all the big clubs?

on this site it only tells you the prices from ibiza town centre.

also when we come out the club is it easy to get a taxi back to our appartments?
 
Last year I think it cost about £10 in total from Pacha to our hotel which was near Coastline.

I wouldn't quote me on that though as my memory is not up to scratch these days!!
 
its not very easy to get a cab back from clubs but saying that some of the locals will offer you lifts...just be carefull make sure that you outnumber then encase of any grief...as for prices its not too expensive bout £15 home from pacha etc good luck

please do not even think about using an unlicensed 'pirate' taxi.

anything happens and your entire holiday insurance becomes null and void and needless to say our swashbuckling friends don't have any cover for you...
and girls, do i really need to tell you about getting into cars with people you don't know..

How easy/hard is it to get a taxi back from a club? Is it a case of a 5 minute wait or are we talking 30 mins plus?

Also, me and mates are staying in a Villa just outside San Jose, will we be able to get taxi's to pick us up from the villa (minicab stylie)? Or are they like black cabs in London - hail and pray?

Really does depend, the taxis que outside pacha and the other clubs but when the club shuts you might end up against a lot of other people in the same boat as you. Depends on the time of year too as there are more free cars in early/late season but few in August.

I should add that you can call a taxi but the chances are you will need to speak spanish. Also last year we sometimes had to wait 45min for a cab to collect us from the hotel on the way out (but didnt have any trouble getting one home)
 
fair point stephen hadnt really thought bout that but to be fair its safer thena walking down that bloody road but ill bear that in mind

Ibiza SanAn road

Every year some get killed on that road - staggering out of the two big clubs looking for cabs or disco buses and get creamed by a passing car even after they have changed road markings and improved road lighting -
YOU ALL BE VERY VERY CAREFUL OUT THERE

simple answer is where do they sell alcohol - but I really don't have a local. Nearest pub is the Shield in Whitchurch, but I am going to the Hogshead on the centre tomorrow, La Tasca the following week, The Hatchet the week after, I like the Upton at Upton Cheyney, Black Lion in Whitchurch for a quick snack, Cartwheel when I'm supermarket shopping, Nova Scotia, Feathers, Ostrich when on a booze cruise etc etc
 
i live up by the aiport about 4 miles from you so i head to watershead, slug and lettuce, fiesta havanna, fluid, horn and trumpet, then on to bar latino, creation, evolution, slinky, works od the old fire staiton depending on my mood
 
spooky - I was up there today, I hate flying so watch as many take offs and landings as possible to try and convince myself I will survive :oops: - has the Tavern been taken over? looks like its had a lick of paint
 
i dunno havnt really paid mush attention when i drive past it i just get jelous of the fukers on the plain off on holiday lol
 
Taxis on mondays are IMPOSSIBLE to get! U got 10,000 coming out of manumission and another few thou from :)Cocoon:)

There are night buses which are cheap, and sometimes certain clubs used to do prepartys at Coastline and ran a bus from there to the club.

Would Not advise gettin dodgy blag taxi's.

San an's bus stop does the disco bus (one of my saviors!- even tho it can be a bit crowded!) and its pretty reliable gettin to the clubs, its just gettin back which can prove to be a mo-fo! (especially when ur shit faced ;) )
