Portinatx...just returned.

Just to say we have returned yesterday from Portinatx.

Stayed at the excellent Club Portinatx, with its own private beach with windsurfing & kayaking.

We found Portinatx small, not many shops or bars, but found it very beautiful, all the beaches were super. our favouite was the petite beach.

There are some good walks,the wal;k along the cliffs to the lighthouse being the best.

We will return to Portinatx as we liked it so much.

i stopped there this year and i like being near the clubs etc but i think of the quieter, family style resort towns, its the nicest. Cala D'en Serra, a little beach near it is my favourite in Ibiza.

We read that Cala D'en Serra was nice so we went there. At the top of the track leading down,we saw an ugly & large concrete unfinished building right behind the beach, it looked so bad we decided not to proceed down,maybe when your on the beach you don't see this monstrosity & the beach might have been nice, we will never know .

yeah, you should have kept going! it's seriously the nicest beach ever, you just have to walk down past the abandoned hotel!

When I said "we will never know" it was a contradiction as we also said we would return to Portinatx.

So I will put Cala D'en Serra top of the list to visit.
