PLEASE HELP!!

Hey everyone.....I'm a 24 year old American visiting Ibiza for the first time this summer, and really excited about it! I have searched through the pages of this forum hundreds of times, and everybody seems to have a favorite "something" on the island! Every time I log back in though, there are hundreds of new posts, and it is hard to get to them all. Therefore, I was wondering if you guys could take the time to post the things that you feel "MUST" be done on a visit to the white isle. I booked only 10 days there, and want to get the most out of the experience! I have heard great things about Bora Bora, Cafe del Mar, and a few others. I would love opinions about the best clubs, good restaurants, and good daytime activities, including where to go for the best beaches. I realize everybody has different opinions about "must do's", but I would love to hear them all! We are staying in the Jet Apartments in Playa de en' Bossa, but have a rental car.....so access to all parts of the island are fair game! Also thinking of a daytrip to Formentera! Any advice would be AWESOME! Thanks Everybody! :)

Mike

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. there should be a sticky "Must see & do" thread in here including restaurants, beaches, places etc. etc.

Yes I know.. go to the main spotlight site.... :x

Sunday at Space
Explore D'alt Villa
Trip to Formentera

Pacha
Hire a car and explore the island for a day at least

Thanks for the advice......we're definitely going to do Formentera while we're there.....We have rented a car, and will be staying right next to Bora Bora. Pacha will be Sunday night for Sander Kleinenberg, and I will definitely use your advice for D'alt Villa. Isn't Sunday at Space a daytime thing, and if so....is it expensive to get in? Also, what kind of difference in scenes is there between Cafe' Mambo and Cafe' del Mar?

Sundays at Space IS a daytime thing and an evening thing, and early morning thing too!

About 50 Euros from memory to get in - and that gets you a pass out so you can go get refreshed if you're planing to stay for the duration.

We used to get there between 3 and 5pm then stay until dark then go get a smoothie and a few drinks at Bora Bora before going back in for the '2nd half'!

The Terrace stays open until midnight (or at least it did last year, with the roof going on, that might change....)

And Cafe Del Mar & Mambo are right next door to each other so check it out for yourslves...
:)

Sa Trinxa, which is the beach bar on the far left on salinas beach. amazing, and full of people that are more than easy on the eye when your feeling a little hungover ;)

"Hippie market @ Las Dalias near San Carles and if you can make either Namaste or Tribe of Frog there it'll be a bonus!!!!"

What is Namaste/Tribe of Frog? Am I looking for a place? a club? a person? How do I find this out?

Oh, and thanks Sandi.....for the "easier on the eyes" advice! That helps out!

first you have chosen a good location. The jet appartments provide you with basic accomodation but give the privilege of being close to Bora Bora and SPACE.
1- Clubs: Space is a must do on Sunday. it finishes at 6 AM monday. so get some sleep and head to DC10 at 3-4 PM
2- beaches: Bora Bora, salinas , Benirras and es cavalet.
3- Formentera for a day.
4- plenty of hanging out at the marina area and dining in Dalt Villa
5- Restaurants: dinners at Dalt Villa, a dinner at sa capella (the best food in the island), also try El Oyoun on a friday night (good food and trendy people). a dinner at El Divino terrace (great atmosphere).
Cheers,
moudire

get in the car and drive along the ibz-san an road. turn north at S. Rafael and just drive through the countryside and villiages (S Gertrudis, S Miguel etc etc) head towards the coast south of Beniras.

A lovely few hours out in the broom-broom

Still trying to figure out how to use this advice? Can anyone tell me what Namaste or Tribe of Frog is?

Tribe of Frogs and Namaste are parties they do in the same place where they do the hippi market. Namaste is on wednesday and Tribe of Frogs sunday.During the dinner you can see a show. After dinner you either chill out in the outside place or you can go inside and have a trance partie.
Check the Dalias site you can find info there or maybe McRackin can give you a better advice.

Cheers

My must:

Explore the island with the car.
Cala Conta, Cala D'Ort...
be in Sa Trinxa
See a sunset facing Es Vedrà
Have a Paella and local dishes
Hungaround Ibiza town at nigth
Pacha.
