a little bird told me , that yesterday pinup was closed by the police .
it seems that there were too many complains of the neirborhood ...
today , pinup was going to host the only dance valley party in ibiza
this summer , but it has fast moved to ' la diosa ' ...

a shame ...

or...club takes the p.iss by playing music too loud in resedential area. they are finally closed down after repeatedly ignoring warning????

hmmm. would be a great shame.

i suspect vienna is probably on the right track. the barstewards

not really , matutes owns most of the ibiza hotels and lands , but
he is not the governor , he was some years ago .

i think the pinup thing is because the music in a residential area ,
and i understand it , because if i had a club near my house all the
days of a year , i would end sick .

Arnold for Governor!!!!!!! :p You mean Arnold Schwarzeneggar owns most of Ibiza????  I love Chinese Whispers

I just got back from 2 weeks in Ibiza yesterday and one of my mates is a promoter for Soul Heaven at Pin Up. We went there on our first week and it was great.
Anyway, he turned up at Pin Up the other morning only to find it all fenced off. He had no info about what had happened, and wasn't sure if he would get paid for the next 2 weeks of parties that he was organising!! Bad communication I say!!!

I can't believe it... I know the Pin Up's staff and I was speaking with them last week... everything was ok... 8)
I'm going to call them again... I'll explain here the news... :!:

Sometimes fine and sometime better :D

I don't think so Technoboy. I was in Mare Nostrum hotel (just at the other side of the road) early September and didn't have any problem about noise issues. Even when we were crossing the road towards PinUp to the Izitdance party on Monday evening the sound from Pin Up was very low there. Opposite to the very loud pool party at Mare Nostrum in comparison. That's why it's not a question of loud music. Why can Mare Nostrum keep on doing their pool parties and complaints are just for Pin Up? There's an evidence of mafia rackets.

Moreover the terrace was packed, and it's not at ground level, but pretty lower. This way the sound is retained more.

i cant find a reason of why they wanted to close it if it is not
because the neigbourhood complaints ...
the other clubs stay closed on mondays afternoon , and in the
other days , pinup has not enough people to make the other
clubs angry ...
