san an is awful in winter. all the best places close

and cafe del mar
the sunsets just aren't the same without the wonderful music (which is completely different every night) from these cutting edge bars.
instead all we are left to do is lounge around in the freezing cold at places like....
the island cafe and rita's
it's a nightmare!
all pictures taken in january 04 when i had nothing better to do on a sunday afternoon.
the only bits of san an that close in winter are most of the west end and 99% of the sunset strips. san an returns to its fishing village roots and is a lovely quiet place to spend time.... i love it in winter. there is always something going on.
