hi all as i can see ur all Sl*ging dave pearce off.

i cannot help myself but say u cannot compare Pete Tong or should i say Pete MONG with dave pearce.

pete tong wat the hell does he play! a bit a rap mixed with house wat do u call that.

well if u like him u need to get ur ears tested seriously.

yes on his radio show tongy does play some rap music but then look at what disco dave pearce plays on his show!!

i not gonna argue with you over whos the best dj, but look at it this way, pearce ressies in eden and tongy ressie in pacha, nuff said!!

Oh dear, it's fair enough if you are well into 'dangerous' Dave but i think its pretty sad to slag off anyone who doesnt like him!
Pete Tong is a world renouned DJ- and noone who uses the word 'mong' will convince me otherwise.
Maybe you could set up a welsh based fan club?
'We love dangerous Daffyd?" ;)

Nuff said but can I just say one more thing...

Pearce doesn't even ressie in Eden anymore he's that pants! :D

Dave Pearce facts:

- He was one of the first dj's to play hip hop in the uk - he had a show in the 80's called "A Fresh Start To The Week " on the old Radio London.

- He can't mix records. There's a guy called Dan Bailey who does the on - air mixing for him (or certainly used to); when he plays out he pretends to mix, but in actual fact it's a mini disc playing. A couple of years vback at a gig in Newcastle, it started skipping, and he was rumbled.

anyway - Welshlads... pete plays a variety of new music on his show to let the listeners judge whats good and whats not...

Davey boy plays same old tripe... usually off his own label - (midnight NYE@Dome2000-1 - prime example - ian van dull i hear?)

what musical background u got then? to be slagging off Pete?

maybe u need to head out of Wales now and again...

erm........

twat!

just thought id post my view on this topic title,... each dance specialist show on radio 1 keeps to certain genres of music

essential selection = majority house with a touch of other genres

fergie = the harder pumping techno/house (which it use to be)

juge jules = starts housey then progresses to trance

seb fontaine = mainly progressive house which a touch of funky

essential mix = QUALITY!!!!

annie nightingale = mainly break beat includes some house with quality guest mixes

pete tends to introduce a little of hip hop r n b etc into his show which i personally think isnt that much of a bad thing,...the others he does play r usually not bad,...im not a huge fan of hip hop etc but some arent to bad :) just my opinion,.....but never compare dave pearce with pete tong
