Had a really great time, to be fair the Hotel wasn't the ritz, but it was well placed and the area wasnt as bad as people made out, however it was on one of the busiest road junctions in Paris, and knowing the French like to honk their horns for the slightest reason it was a tad noisy at times.
Did all the usual stuff, Eifel Tower, Boat down the seine, louvre, bastille, notre dame, pigalles, montmarte, printemps, galleries laffayette etc.
Although the highlight for me was finally visiting Jim Morrisons (somewhat sanitised) grave. Pere Lachaise is well worth a visit, it is fookin huge tho, so if you want to see all it's famous residents, u need about a day to do it. As for the Louvre, it was also pretty awe inspiring, "la Joconda" was a bit of an anti-climax though and was hard to contemplate with all the other people around.
If I went back I would also use the audio commentary earpieces as all the plaques descrbing each works were in French.
But all up had a great time!!!
