tonight ,its good to see dimitritri from paris after Glitterbox closing sept 23
i paid a pass 35€ available b4 01.00am instead of 40€ regu i heard some parisian djs went there on guestlist because knowing someone working there but they didnt gave their tip even i put them on guestlist 3 times ibz 15..im too nice :rolleyes:...

i'd love to see brilliant DJs like i:cube, pepe bradock, joakim in ibiza but I don't know which clubs would accommodate them these days? etienne jaumet too although I'm not sure if he DJs

If you went to see a fairly well known dj play and rather than music you had heard before he/she was playing a 4/4 house kick drum but with farmyard animal noises over the top, occasionally interspersed with orgasmic human groaning. Would you complain or try and get into what he/she was doing?

And again we go back to the "underground" debate. At what point does music stop being underground and become just plain shit?

Also "underground" doesn't necessarily denote quality.

Joe Bloggs making beats on a ripped version of Logic in his bedroom uploaded to sound cloud at 128kbps with 5 listens is underground.

Souq festival, c'est avant tout un état d'esprit, une ambiance, une chaleur, une générosité propre à l'image de ses trois créateurs. Trois amis qui cherchent à partager au public leur richesse culturelle. « On fait des soirées qui nous ressemblent, on s'implique et on court un peu partout mais cela fait partie de l'atmosphère familiale qu'on veut faire partager. Le but c'est que les gens se sentent chez eux. »

Le public est ici pour découvrir un style musical, mais pas seulement. Il plonge dans un monde à part, entre spécialités culinaires et marché aux saveurs, dans un esprit indoor/outdoor.
 
Venue wise, what are the best places to go in Paris for good house music? Like, what's the nearest thing to fabric or ministry when comparing to LDN?
