Went to Pacha, home after dawn, had no strength for the Hed Kandi opening. Was it good ?

The Defected opening was on Tuesday and Hed Kandi was on Saturday! 
Were you out for 4 days after Defected?
I went out every night in between! (paying for it now).
Don't worry. Hed Kandi was crap. The women were all dressed up and gorgeous... at least, moreso than the other parties I attended. The place filled up pretty late... probably close to 2:30 before there were substantial numbers on the dance floor.
The music was songs you've heard a million times. Mark Doyle was unusually bad, I thought. They had two vocalists come on in a row and sing 2 songs each. A percussionist was there bangining away on electronic drums somewhat randomly. The room was far too bright with the Hed Kandi decorations.
In short, I like El Divino and wanted to go to at least one party there. Unfortunate that that party was the Hed Kandi opening.

I have met BlueOrchid a few times. And trust me went he parties he parties. The last couple of times, he has been more or less out on his feet, but always stays till the very end. LOL. Hardcore.
Was the Kandi party lacking in atmosphere, and what was so bad about Mr Doyle. He is normally king of the disco on the opening night

I just thought his mixing was bad and, having seen him a few times over the past year (Hed Kandi is in Moscow pretty regularly), I guess I'm just sick of hearing the same songs over and over again. The percussionist didn't add anything either, and the sound was horrible on the two live performances... reminded me of karaoke!
The crowd/atmosphere was alright... in that respect, I thought the previous night's Penelope opening was worse.

Marks mixing has never been any good really and i dont like the cheese he plays either but all in all we have a lot of freinds there so we go to catch up and have a laugh and a drink.Im looking forward to the closing party because i like to take the pi$$ out of all the girls that dress up in their heels and huge diamond earrings in Ibiza

The previous time I saw him was about a month and a half ago and he was hammered and basically turning knobs pretending to mix CDs. He was supposed to headline another party 3 weeks ago here but I heard from people that he got too drunk to even stand up to play. In other words, I've lost respect for him aside from his bad mixingmambobirdette said:

The repercussions of the Olive Scandal continue to be felt.......
I dont rate mark doyle. Really ruined my Kaandi experince last year- He played 5 rock/house tracks in concession which pissed me off- esp when i heared the darkness- "believe in a thing called love"
